β Welcome back to Slayful Music! We're still sending you home if we smell unoriginality. #MusicTaste
π΅ I'm welcoming 14 new contestants that will have to prove they're as good as the legends we discovered on the first season. I have high hopes for that, or do I?
π΅ Last time #BlueZavi told us a story and after it was over, suddenly his time in the game was over too. 4 people remain and I guess I'll go softer with the theme this time around to keep the spiciness for the grand final!
Moving on, to the next theme!
β THEME 10 πΌ ALBUM TRACKS β
βΌ Albums can tell a story, or multiple stories at once, or nothing at all, but they still create something full of meaning. And with that being said, it's time to celebrate some of the best album track spots ever! The first, the last and the...fifth?
For this episode, you're still sending THREE songs.
The first song is going to be the OPENING SONG or Track 1 from any Album or EP of your choice.
The second song is going to be CLOSER SONG (last track) from any Album or EP of your choice.
The third song is going to be the fifth song (track 5) from any Album or EP of your choice. Miss Taylor Swift taught me fifth tracks can be very slayful or emotional so go find the best fifth track you've ever heard to keep me happy and proud.
As usual...
βΌ Every song is allowed, except songs sent in previous rounds or used in tiebreakers.
βΌ Don't be basic, DUHHHHH.
βΌ Songs sent in Season 1 won't count (list posted down in the blog)
I'm going to rank the songs from best to worst and remember that LAST PLACE IS GOING HOME! No elimination duels, just straight up death.
You have 24 hours but I'll give you some more time if needed, good luck, and slay the competition!
Opening Song: Always Been You - Jessie Murph (drowning)
For my first submission, I wanted to go with this because Jessie's tone is so unique, and I love her lyricism and flow so much! It's a great introduction to not just this album, which is amazing, but all of her music. I've loved this song since I first heard it and I hope you feel the same!
You might be thinking, "Bella? Really?" but this song is amazing, it's unique, and especially with Sub Urban, it just takes the song to a whole other level. Enjoy this please ugh I want top 3
Track 5: You Might Not Like Her - Maddie Zahm (You Might Not Like Her EP)
In my opinion, this is a song worthy of Taylor's track 5s. When I was still in the closet, this song got me through so much. I had it on repeat over and over and I just relate to the lyrics so much and I think it's the perfect song to represent my track 5. I hope you enjoy <33
