◼ At this point it's only better to ask more than one submission, you'll need to work harder if you want that finale spot!
For this episode, you're sending TWO songs.
It can be any two songs you like (if they respect the rules written under this), and they'll have to be the complete opposite of one another.
Last season I did a similar theme, but it was already determined that one song had to sound a specific way, and the same for the other one, but for this round you choose everything.
You choose the two songs and explain to me why they are opposites, maybe they're explaining complete different points of view on something; maybe one talks about the beauty of love while the other one talks about how love is useless and we need to think about ourselves first.
It could even be a difference in the genre, you could be sending Phoebe Bridgers for one song and Metallica for the other, you have access to everything and any explanation will be accepted and analyzed.

My first song is about just living within your breakup. Constantly thinking about the person and not understanding how they were able to move on.
My second song is the the flip side. You've been through your feelings and been able to move on. You are doing so well that now the other person is obsessing and wants you back but you've moved on from them
A lot of these are about relationships so I wanted to go with more of a general mood.
Song A: This song always gets me in the mood to sing and dance along! Plus, Kylie slays every time and when I first heard this I played it over and over because of how catchy it was. I hope you like it!
Song B: Since the theme is opposites, I really wanted to try and pick a song opposite in every sense of the word. Firstly, it's a male singer, which is kind of obvious for an opposite but I still felt like it was necessary. Secondly, it's extremely stripped compared to "Supernova," and the subject matter is a lot darker and heavier. I ultimately decided on this song because it is able to translate how I'm feeling at any given moment so well. When I first heard this song, I was frozen to the spot. Then I looped it over and over and thought about the lyrics. I hope you like this song as much as I do <33
