Other than my sister, they treat her like the black sheep, when she was being raped and molested her whole childhood by my family. You know what, fuck everyone this is ruining her life, she’s an alcoholic, drug user and has had several suicide attempts.
But they just want to say “she’s a drunk”. No one believes her, well I do bcuz I was a witness with my own eyes, I walked in the room one time when I was about 9 years old. Fuck off all of y’all, I’m focusing on getting my sister help and I don’t need anyone.
1st thing: You should be helping your sister in any which way you can. Emotionally, financially, being a good sibling etc which it sounds like you are already <3. Keep that up.
2nd thing: Get some help yourself. You need it. Even if right at this very moment you feel like 'fuck everybody', you do. I don't know you but if you wanna talk, PM me. I'll try.
3rd thing: You can't choose family but you can always choose friends. Immersing yourself in toxicity isn't a good thing and I urge you to find a support system somewhere. Even if online. GL <3
I’ve cut my family off just about 2 months ago, I got tired of the background noise, the excuses and reluctance to do any better. Do what’s best for you and ask for help elsewhere if you need it as looking after someone vulnerable takes a lot sometimes.
