imageJustin, the minute you applied for the season I knew I wanted you on the cast. I played with you over two years ago in Youtube Survivor and I had the honor of taking you out of that game. I knew you were a great player and I always knew you would make it deep into the game. You played one heck of a game this season and you had a good chance going into the end. Tonight was another emotional tribal council, but that just shows how much you cared for this game. I know that leaving so close to the end sucks, but you should be proud of the game you played. You do still have a chance to have the final say of who wins this game.

imageTonight was a very emotional night as we said goodbye to Julian. Dude, you were a FORCE this season. You came into this game with something to prove. You said it yourself that survivor is your game, not big brother. After seeing you play, you proved that to be very true. Starting the game as a big target, especially with the target of a romantic partner being in the game with you, you rocked the premerge flipping votes completely away from you and managed to get the two of you into the final 5 together. You played an amazing game, and you still have a chance to have a say in how it finishes up.

imageTonight we saw Nik's game come to an end. Nik, after seeing you play in season 4 of 1984 and playing Trinity with you, I knew having you on Surviving. You were a force this season. We saw the highs and the lows of your game. From you being in charge of votes to being completely blind sides by them. You played a great game, but unfortunately it was cut just a tad bit short. As you noted at tribal, you will have a say in who wins this game!

Here are a few things multiple people have said so I will respond to things that I don't think are going to work out as well as thank yous to things being brought to our attention

First, There was a suggestion about a full clue package. While I love this idea, as tengaged is much smaller than the real world, if we did much more than a sentence as a clue per week, it would become very obvious who each person is very quickly and that wouldn't be good in the long run.

Next, A lot of people commented on how short the performances were. For this round, they were all asked to give me about 30 seconds. This was because it was the first performance and I wasn't sure how the episodes would go. I thought it might seem boring to sit and stare at a picture while someone sings the whole time so. However after this suggestion, I will be doing probably 90 to 120 seconds for future rounds. Disclaimer however, the next few episodes will be similar to the first as it is still the first round of competing.

Next, I had suggestions from people to put usernames on the guesses. I think this is a great idea and I will be doing so in the future! That section of the episode was thought out last minute so I didn't even think about it. Thank you for the suggestion!

Next... Song choices! For round one, the singers were told to choose one song for the introductory song. For most of them, they chose songs that fit their voice the best. In the future weeks, there will be themes that will spice it up a bit! I am very excited for these themes! If you have a recommendation, leave them in the comments. I do have most of the themes picked out but i'd love to hear ideas!

Also one comment about the songs. Whatever clip the singer gave me is what I used. Specifically in last nights episode, when the singing ended abruptly, that is because that is the clip they gave me. Any clips that I cut for time were cut at an appropriate ending time, such as the end of a verse or chorus. If I had to cut a significant part of their clip out, I typically told them ahead of time or asked what part they wanted to keep, or sent them their clip for approval. I didn't just pick out a random part of the performance and say "here ya go!" However as stated above, we will likely do more full songs or longer performances in the future.

I had many comments about background noise of the judges. We will work to eliminate this in the future.

I had many people ask for timestamps or the release the individual videos. In future episodes, I will leave time stamps however these probably wont be put out until after the premiere is over as you can't jump around during the premiere anyways.

Someone mentioned possibly having a live show. I'm not sure if this will work in the current stage of the show, however maybe towards the finale we may be able to work something out :)

Some comments about the audio in the "The judges think" part. I will make sure to work on that :)

Someone said to make a wiki. I did make a chart, and have linked it in the Episode 1 blog :)

I had some comments on what the judges were saying. I think that as of now, we want to be careful with how critical the judges are because of it being round one and these people have put themselves out there and don't know what the reaction may be. In the future rounds however I do believe the judges will be able to be more critical :)

imageTonight we saw the final member of the Power of 3 from Dead Men Walking leave the game. Megan, coming into the game with such a big target, I don't think anyone expected you to make it this far into the game, but I am very proud of the work you did. Personally I think you showed a much nice sider of yourself in this game than what was perceived of you in season 4. You should be really proud of how you played and shouldn't beat your self up over leaving. You will have a say in who wins this game!
