Survivor 26: Favorites Tribe

To be completely honest, I'm not loving the line up of favorites for the upcoming season of Survivor. I would also love to have CBS say what it is about many of these so called "favorites" that made them favorites from their respective season. I miss the popularity poll days on the website, so us viewers could give a clear picture of who we liked, so we don't end up in situations like this. I'm not giving up hope on the season though, as I wasn't too happy with the Micronesia favorites either. Anyway here's what I have to say on each of them.

From the Original Fans vs Favorites:
-Erik- In most sequels/remakes/reboots that plague cinema today, the producers of the project tie in something from the original to help please fans of the franchise, and Erik is that original variable. Just because he made the worst move of that(and maybe of any) season doesn't mean he needs to be back for the sequel season. How about that lovely bitch Natalie, lets see her again. But he is from Michigan so I'll root for him as long as I can tolerate him.

From Gabon:
-Corinne- The "bitch" is back. Eh. I remember her trying so hard to be a bitch, and it was kind of annoying, but I like that she doesn't care to cross the line, as that is very entertaining. She's basically a less dramatic/emotional Rachel Reily, so you'll either love her or hate her. Hated Rachel, indifferent on Corinne.

From Nicaragua:
-Brenda- I have long awaited her return. She did a great job in her original season, but besides Malcolm and maybe Cochran, she can't really flirt to get the job done this season. And with Little Hantz, she'll be lucky not to be lynched on the island like poor Mikayla. One of the only 3 favorites I'm truly happy about, hope she kicks ass.

From the season Boston Rob took up 98% of the screen time:
-Andrea- She was the best player out of Rob's minions, but that isn't saying too much. She had glimmers of potential, but through it away to ride coattails obliviously. She seems eager to actually play hard this time, and I like her, so I hope she does well. And she's hot, so added points.
-Francesca- She was funny and all, but your really bullshitting us CBS if you expect us to believe us fans consider Franny a fan favorite. She's likable, but she was there for a hot second.
-Phillip- He's batshit crazy, but it just started rubbing me the wrong way when he started throwing race around as an issue. Although I'm curious to see how he and Little Hantz will get along, I hope they both have meltdowns together.

From the other Redemption Island season:
-Brandon- Everytime he came on TV I'd cross my legs. He's creepy, sipping on some weird ass koolaid, and is a pedobear in the making. I hope you go early, and don't you DARE go after my lovely Brenda like you did poor sweet Mikayla. *tear* She had so much potential.
-Cochran- I'm iffy, because I liked him through most of his season, but then it became obvious he was starving for attention, and it annoyed me. Hope I like him more this time, I want to, it's just he tries SO HARD.
-Dawn- Personally I liked Holly more, she was the likeable swim coach mom who was also a little batshit craycray, but whatevs. She just needs to be more aggressive this time. It's not the Hunger Games, its Survivor, in 2 months no one will care if you lied to them on an island.

From Philippines:
-Malcolm- I'm happy to see him back, and it was super obvious he'd be back judging from the huge boner Probst got everytime he talked to him. I like him, and hope he does well again, he has the HvV Hantz advantage of no one knowing his previous game, so hopefully he takes full advantage of it.

Over it's bleh cast of favorites. Prefer the original batch better. I'm in disbelief that the 2 worst recent seasons (Redemption and South Pacific) got 3 each of returning players, while Nicaragua, One World, Poster Child for great season Philippines, or any other season got little to no representation. There are SOOOOO many other people than Francesca, Brandon, ect. that could've made excellent choices.

i absolutely hate most of these decisions Joey123. my comments on each:

erik- happy to c him back. he needs redemption
malcolm- 1 of the few that deserve to come back from this list
andrea- im ok with her. not ecstatic shes back but not many good women non-winners from new generation
brenda- she was underrated and probably deserves a 2nd choice
corinne- dont remember what she did in gabon so i cant comment on her
cochran- he was too weak in SP and made bad moves. dont like him coming back
brandon- he was too crazy in SP. also not happy hes back
dawn- she was alright in SP but i feel like holly wouldve been a better choice for the old woman
phillip- absolute worst decision ever to bring a returnee back. seriously how does he deserve another shot at playing?
francesca- im most mad about her. how can somebody in LAST PLACE be that loved to come back again. i personally wouldve preferred natalie from FvF to have her spot
