know that you love them. and even if you don't know them or love them, treat them kindly because you never truly know their battles. my sister attempted suicide last night by downing a handful of xanax and then had a seizure. her eyes are responsive but she's on a ventilator because she's barely breathing. this is obviously a given, but you never truly know what people are going through so be compassionate to one another.
