In a unanimous vote, the 43rd president of the United States was elected to suspend his campaign. Unlike 2000, this was a landslide.
George W. Bush will be remembered, in part, as having some interesting things in common with his successor, Barack Obama. They both like golf, both like the Saudis, and in the past they were both big fans of pot, cocaine, and alcohol. Luckily they kicked those habits.
Aside from John Quincy Adams, George W. Bush is the only son of a US president to become a US president.
