GayJohnny's 20 rules of Fasting Dec 28, 2011
Just some ideas to help you stay in the game that I have built from observation and experience

1) Revealing that you have no alliance may seem like it makes you look like less of a threat, but everyone is looking for an easy target.  (I did this once and it led me to an early eviction in 11th place).

2) Vote ASAP.  Slow voters are usually evicted after inactives.

3) If there is an experienced player in the game, it is a bad idea to go after them.  They know how to get back at you.

4) Using people as pawns is not only unethical, but may lead to your eviction as it makes people feel like its either you or them.

5) Ignoring prior experience with players is a bad idea.  If you were backstabbed by a person in one game, you should avoid them in future encounters.  (I did this once and it led to a painful betrayal, leaving me in fourth place).

6) If you are homophobic, keep it to yourself.  Nobody wants to play with a bigot.

7) If you join a game, the most inconsiderate thing you can possibly do is leave it without warning.  If you are going to leave, tell your castmates.

8) Don't talk about your weaknesses too much if you are nominated.  It could easily come off as insincere.

9) Do not reveal alliances.  Your former alliance will be ultra motivated to make sure that you don't see another day in that game.

10) Don't backstab.  Sometimes backstabbing benifits you, but it often leads you to eviction.  Plus, you hurt others.

11) If a player is new, try not to get annoyed by their lack of knowledge.  Calling someone a n00b if they are trying to understand makes you look like a bully.

12) Do not brag about veto wins.  In fact, it is best not to mention them at all, as your competitors may view you as a threat if they remember your veto wins.

13) Don't just align yourself with random people.  You need to observe their behavior to see if they are trustworthy or call on past experience.

14) Drama can be fun, but be careful in how you engage in it.  If you end up on the wrong side of an argument, you will probably be evicted.

15) Calculate your risks before you make big moves.  If you end up making the wrong move, you are likely to be the next person out the door.

16) Do not reveal who you voted for unless you are prepared to face their wrath.  (I did this once and it led to a bitter 7th place finish).

17) Don't spam.  Posting relevant or funny comments and getting positive feedback is what is going to get you the veto.

18) Keep track of your alliances.  If you accidentally betray someone, people will assume that you did it on purpose.  (I did this once and it led to a 9th place finish).

19) Don't beg.  Begging usually guarantees your eviction.

20) Be sociable!!  The more fun you are to have around, the less likely you are to become a target.

I hope these 20 rules can help some players avoid an embarrassing eviction.

NOTE- These 20 rules do not guarantee a good outcome.  They are just some good things to remember so that you don't go down in flames.

What do you think of my new avatar? Dec 27, 2011
I figured that since my avatar looks nothing like me I might as well make it look really weird.
