I thought Ben was kind of being an ass to Cole.  Cole is clearly, obviously and demonstrably a nice guy who just lacks social awareness at times, but Ben takes it upon himself to personally attack Cole over things that he has sincerely apologized for.

Agreed. I also don't like how Ben pretty much invalidated the experiences of survivors of shootings.

I know that it wasn't on purpose, of course, but it felt insensitive given how many shootings there are in the USA.
