To celebrate Mr. Tomathan, we’ve decided to do a completely unique, one of a kind, and totally not stolen from Ms. Turkey idea for a music taste round. This next round is called “Tom and Braden’s Ball” and it’s pretty simple: every ball has different categories to compete in and you all will compete in all of them. So, Tomathan and I agreed on two categories: “Funk” and “Retro”. For the category of “Funk” we want you to submit a song from any time period that is funky in nature. Get us movin and get us groovin with these picks :) For the second category of “Retro” we want y’all to submit a modern song (modern is up to your interpretation but feel free to ask questions if you’re unsure) that feels inspired by a genre or movement in the past. Please say what the song is inspired by in your submission :)
