Omg hello!
First off it took a while for me to finish this and I would like to apologise. I just recently started working again and my schedule is now very busy but im still at least trying to get a movie in a day if I can.
With that being said, the following people are SAFE:
Thirteen - Super 8 (2011) - One of the only positive memories I have of my brother and I is when he took me to see this movie when I was 11. Little me was in awe at the really cool stuff on the screen. Regardless of my nostalgia for it even now I still love this movie. JJ Abrahms is an interesting figure because aside from his TV properties, everything he had directed (feature film wise) has been from other IP's...except this one. Yet its so heavily inspired by Spielberg's 80's run. Its a weird anomoly. I enjoy this now though because the characters and the situation is investing. The generational trauma that is being passed down onto Joe and Alice is a great set-up and the alien itself is just the payoff. The train sequence is probably my favourite part of the movie because its just so bombastic. I stan. Anyways, I love this movie.
JayElVeeIsBack - Rocky (1976) - I've seen this a couple times but I wanted to rewatch it because despite having a marathon of it where every movie was extremely samey. They all blended together so I forgot about it. Sylvestor Stallone is such an interesting actor because you can tell his heart is in it, but the performances are like something else yet its so charming? Especially for Rocky where the self indulgence of the sequels aren't there and its just a man working his way in life. I also love Carl Weathers. He makes everything great and I am here for it. Honestly, this is a very uplifting and empowering movie. Just some dude working his way up getting a chance to actually have a dream is cool to see and its played out very well, starting a template that many films of the same calibre would use. The score is iconic. I listen to it sometimes when im in that kind of mood to fly high (pun intended). Overall, a classic that did alot for cinema and im cool with it.
austino15fffan - RV (2006) - So I went to see this in the theatre with my brother and cousin when I was 6 and the only thing I remember about this experience was passing out (through like the whole movie). Josh Hutcherson's hair in this movie is frightening. Its so aggressively spiked up i'm genuinely concerned. I completely agree that this is a guilty pleasure because there is so much to hate about it, but im ashamed to admit I really enjoyed it! Like its generic and nothing really outstanding yet its charming and is actually has some good comedic moments. Robin Williams is always a delight and I will be happy for whatever he is in. What a great man. Kristin Chenowith is also really funny. There is something about her presentation that just works for me. I also like the family dynamic where they are obviously in a rut and..

#CarolinaSteele: Get Into It (Yuh) - Sometimes, you just want to listen to a song that鈥檚 fun and makes you move without caring about the lyrics. This is one of those songs for me. It started as a guilty pleasure, but now I鈥檓 not afraid to say I鈥檝e listened to the one hour loop mix on Youtube on multiple occasions. What can I say other than it鈥檚 a banger.
#Thnksfrthmmrs: SUN GOES DOWN - There has been a lot of Lil Nas X so far in the game, and candidly, I鈥檓 not his biggest fan. I don鈥檛 love him as a singer. And this was another song that I felt wasn鈥檛 super dynamic or added anything new or interesting to keep me engaged as a listener.
#NewNightmare7: TG4M - I admittedly have a hard time differentiating Zara between Bebe Rexha, Anne Marie, and that whole group of women pop artists. I was honestly just pretty bored listening to this. I wasn鈥檛 really getting much from the vocals or instrumentation, and it sounded the same to me from start to finish.
#txashaun: transparentsoul - I really liked this. I thought the punk influence was super cool, and Travis Barker on drums was a nice touch. This had a clear vibe and everything from the vocals to the instrumentation really fit.
#Voila: Golden Girls Theme - I鈥檝e never seen Golden Girls, so this is actually the first time I鈥檝e heard this song. Like, musically it was fine, but there really wasn鈥檛 much for me to connect with. And even if this song had another verse, I don鈥檛 see myself really ever enjoying this.
#Maxi123: LazyBaby - So I do have to give you a one place penalty for submitting late which is a shame because this definitely could鈥檝e won. It鈥檚 a legit bop. I absolutely love the instrumentation. I had never heard this before, so it was definitely a nice surprise.

I was super confused on how this song related to Halloween at all. I get that the song is associated with anxiety and other mental illnesses, however those dont really scream Halloween.
