Welcome to the first results show of Season 2!
Since everyone has ππππππ₯ππ‘π§ π§ππ¦π§ππ¦, you were all tasked with submitting songs that fitted π¬π’π¨π₯ π π¨π¦ππ π§ππ¦π§π!
Even though the theme had you sending in songs that you liked, I still had to rank them by how I liked them.
I have to say I really enjoyed listening to the first submissions. It gave me a feel of what type of music you all listen to and what I can expect from you in the future.

So I'm not too familiar with Mabel. I literally only know one of her songs and, even though this wasn't it, I did like it. I don't know if I liked it enough that I would listen to it over and over again but I really enjoyed listening to it for the first time.

I have never heard this song before. I haven't really listened to a lot of Carly's music, other than the hits she's really known for. I did find this song catchy as well. Again,
not one that I would listen to multiple times but for a first listen it was a decent song.

I have never listened to a Sabrina Carpenter song. I really only know her from Girl Meets World. I knew she had music but I just never paid any mind to listen to them. It's another catchy and upbeat song but, again, not one that I would listen to on repeat.

Another artist I've never listened to. I know Ben Platt was the guy in Pitch Perfect, that's about the only singing I've heard from him. I know he's in Dear Evan Hansen, but I've never seen it. However, I enjoyed listening to this song and I liked it. Not a repeat listen, but for a first it was good.

#christossss - I used to hate him. Now I kind of love him, but hate myself for doing so. One of the few people on this site who is a bigger attention whore than everyone in this chat combined, and that takes a lot. He's insanely loyal to his friends though, and I respect that a lot. Still annoying though!
#peace123 - I must admit you're the baddest bitch while frooksing, but you're kind of annoying at some points. Not cuz you're sassy and all, in fact I love that part of you, but you do come across as conceited at times... omg love you bestie :heart:

Midiaw ββ Hindi Zahra ββAny Storyββ ββ This is clearly a great recovery from you. I did like the song you proposed for this week's theme, especially because I had never heard of Hindi Zahra before and she is a QUEEN. The lyrics are very touchy and it made me think of myself wondering what paths and narratives I am constructing in my life after a massive party - a futile story.
_Matt ββ Moby ββThe Last Day (with Skylar Grey)ββ ββ I loved this song. The construction of it reminded me a lot of βThe xxβ music, which is one of my favourite bands ever. I see myself 100% listening to this to reflect and to chill after a massive party and even confronting myself in sadness and confusion. This is an amazing recovery from last episodeβs performance, keep your mind straight on that line.
Brandonator ββ Kelly Clarkson ββDark Sideββ ββ Iβm really shocked to see this song around here. But Iβm happily shocked. In my point of view, this song could be seen as an optimistic anthem, which would be the opposite of tonightβs theme. However, Kelly does not deny her darkside and after partying and chemically modifying your brain, you could definitely tell that being a party freak or a drug user can be your darkside. This is a nice and different perspective of the themeβ¦ the fear of being judged or abandoned due to the consequences of your actions.

I must say that this era of hers is my favourite even though we all know that she was struggling a lot, so itβs probably her least favourite, lol. Now, talking about the song choice, it definitely fits the theme but I also find it very predictable and kind of a safe choice, which for the record, doesnβt mean itβs a bad one at all.

She is definitely the bomb. Iβd say that this song has the ultimate vibing kind of track and I love it, but MAYBE Iβd like to listen to it while Iβm riding my car w/ my sisters, smoking a goddamn cigarette and enjoying the nighttime, which is not necessarily an after party..

Notable Events:
- Honestly me rigging Ohhayy into a 29th spot in a cast of 28 and her getting second.... after a first boot in her OG season... she knew.
- First, second, and third not seeing a single elimination the entire season... and Oswordo3 really working his social game being chosen to be in the troika 4 times and never being selected by the troika to go into an elim
- The mercenaries this season were: peace123 / Shellbelle / teddybear / cutieamy / phonee / top20fan33 / barbrastreisand / crayadian . Half won their elim, half did not.
- IMO singsongers was a good winner, played a pretty dominant game.
- Galaxies was a blooming elim queen... and kindred7 having a WIN-OUT chart is tragic...
- Washed_ravioli was lowkey so good this season to get 8th in the finals...
