NOTE: Even if I know your real name, I'm just using a shortened version of everyone's username as your name for convenience. No complaining. Also, some legs I might say what the detour/roadblock is and sometimes I might not... It depends on how much energy I have. Also YES I know the times are unrealistic but I'm lazy, deal with it.
Today, all teams will leave camp in five minutes increments, based on the order they placed in the first leg of the race. They will head to the airport where they will buy tickets to Sweden for the next leg of the race. The teams will fly on two separate planes...7 teams will leave on the first plane, and 4 on the second, which will land 30 minutes after the first.
-Kindred & Survivor arrive at the airport first, followed closely by Connor & Smi, Kentuckyy & Brighton, Zac & Girllover, Lemjam & J, Smooth & Gaga, and Blah & Woeisme. These seven will be on the first flight.
-Arris & Typhoon, Sosy & Simpizzle, Captain & Princess, and Galaxy & Zoon are stuck on the second flight. Can these four teams catch up?
Upon arrival, teams must search for their next clue, located somewhere outside the airport. This proves quite tricky for teams. The first three teams to find their clues are Kindred & Survivor, Lemjam & J, and Blah & Woeisme. The last three are all from the fourth flight, Galaxy & Zoon, Captain & Princess, and Sosy & Simpizzle. However, Arris & Typhoon have already caught up to two teams from the first flight who struggled with finding their clues.
DETOUR: Teams must either make it down a mountain course in under two minutes, or build a traditional Sami dwelling with furs and fire pits.
Mountain Course:
-Kindred & Survivor arrive first. They have a tough time, and together take more than 10 tries to make it through the entire course in under 2 minutes. They finish in 30 minutes.
-Kentuckyy & Brighton are next. They finish very quickly, finishing the challenge in just 3 tries. They take only 10 minutes.
-Connor & Smi follow. They struggle with the course, as Connor keeps slipping and costing the team time. They take 35 minutes.
-Zac & Girllover are next. Their running is smooth, with only a few flounders toward the beginning. The two of them complete the challenge in 20 minutes, with only 7 trials.
-Arris & Typhoon are the last to choose this detour. Unfortunately, Typhoon has terrible balance, and more than once wants to quit entirely. Because of this, the two of them take a full 40 minutes to complete the challenge.
Build a Dwelling:
-Blah & Woeisme are the first to arrive here. They build their dwelling very sloppily but quickly. Their building is rejected twice before being approved. Despite this, they take only 30 minutes to complete the challenge.
-Lemjam & J are next. They put some careful effort into their first attempt, however they still mess up a few things. After one rejection, they meticulously finish the details, taking 35 minutes in total.
-Smooth & Gaga are the third to arrive. Smooth's prior experience puts their team at a major advantage. Getting everything right the first time, they finish in only 25 minutes.
-Captain & Princess arrive next. They flounder at first having no idea what they're doing. After two rejections, and some impatient natives, they finally get it right, and leave in 40 minutes.
-Galaxy & Zoon follow them. They screw some stuff up at first, but get it right the second try. They leave in 35 minutes.
-Sosy & Simpizzle are the last to arrive here. Unfortunately their desire to get everything right the first time does nothing but slow them down. They are still missing something after the first try, and can't figure out what it is. Overall they take a total of 50 minutes. Can they still catch up? Or are they doomed to fail?
Teams must now locate the next clue. They are given the name of the intersection the cluebox is located on. Blah & Woeisme, and Kentuckyy & Brighton arrive simultaneously first, more than fifteen minutes before any other teams. Sosy & Simpizzle arrive last, one hour and twenty minutes after the teams in first. Now, teams must follow this clue to this leg's roadblock!
ROADBLOCK: Teams must choose a member to hitch a sled dog to a sled, then go through a course and collect five flags.
-Kentuckyy & Brighton arrive first. Brighton will do the roadblock. Brighton missed 1 flag on her first run, though on her second, she snatched the last one. The pair leaves in 30 minutes.
-Blah & Woeisme are next. Woeisme will do the challenge. Like the team before them, Woeisme misses one flag, and has to run through the course a second time. They, too, leave in 30 minutes.
-Lemjam & J arrive third. Lemjam will do the roadblock. He too misses a single flag, and retrieves it on his second run. They leave in 30 minutes.
-Kindred & Survivor are next. Survivor will do the challenge. He, like every team so far, misses one flag, and grabs it on his second try. They are out of there in 30 minutes.
-Zac & Girllover arrive fifth. Zac will do the challenge. Unfortunately, he struggles getting flags, and frequently misses them. It's not until his fourth run that he has all five flags. This costs the team and they take a full 60 minutes.
-Connor & Smi are next. Smi will do the challenge. He struggles a bit with it, though not as much as Zac before him, finally snatching the fifth flag on his third run. The pair leaves in 45 minutes.
-Smooth & Gaga show up next. Smooth will do the challenge. They are the first team to execute the challenge perfectly on their first try. Smooth gets every flag, and his team takes only 15 minutes!
-Arris & Typhoon arrive eighth. Arris will do it. He does struggle a bit, and finally gets the fifth flag on his third trial. They take 45 minutes to leave.
-Galaxy & Zoon are ninth. Zoon will do the roadblock. On the first try, he gets four flags. On the second, he fails to grab any at all. Finally, on the third, Zoon grabs the fifth flag. Their team takes 45 minutes.
-Sosy & Simpizzle are next. Simpizzle will do the roadblock. His run goes perfectly smoothly, and he collects all 5 flags in one run. They take a mere 15 minutes.
-Captain & Princess are last. Princess will do the challenge. She is so distracted by her feeling of defeat on her first run that she manages to collect only one flag. However, on her second trial, she claims the other four, meaning her team takes 30 minutes total.
With their final clue, retrieved from completion of the roadblock, teams will race to the Pit Stop. Who will win this leg... and who will be the second team eliminated?
In 1st place... Kentuckyy & Brighton! Congratulations... You arrived a full hour and a half before the team in last place.
In 2nd place... Blah & Woeisme! You started near the bottom, but managed to work your way up quickly.
In 3rd place... Lemjam & J! You started in 3rd and you ended in 3rd. Perhaps the most consistent team so far?
In 4th place... Kindred & Survivor! Arriving bare seconds before the team in 5th...
In 5th place... Smooth & Gaga!
In 6th place... Connor & Smi! You two started the race off strong, but this leg seemed to be challenging for you...
In 7th place... Zac & Girllover!
In 8th place... Sosy & Simpizzle! You got stuck on the second flight after a rough first leg of the race... Yet you managed to almost catch up to the first flight, arriving only 5 minutes after Zac & Girllover.
In 9th place... Arris & Typhoon! You were stuck in a rough position from the beginning, but you still made it!
In 10th place, and the final team getting to stay in the race... Captain & Princess
Galaxy & Zoon, unfortunately you've been eliminated from the race. You started out far behind everyone and you just couldn't catch up. It really came down to a footrace with Captain & Princess to determine who would be eliminated... And your speed just didn't cut it.
