When I found out that you liked G-Eazy as well it just brought us closer together and gave us something to talk about, and it made it easier for me to be friends with you. I personally don't update mine, but if you don't like it, don't use it. I'm sure status's annoy alot of people but i don't see anyone else complaining :S If you think they're attention seeking, remove them :)
