Today while I was in American History, I was called up to the counselor’s office. She wanted to tell me that I know longer had an IEP. Then we had to re-look at my senior schedule because I was no longer was eligible to take Work Adjustment (where I learn about the work force and how to make a resume, etc.) and Work Ethics (a class where I do like an internship type thing for 5 hours a week outside of school and turn the hours into my Work Adjustment teacher) because of the IEP.
So now, I only had 5 classes and I had the option to have an excused period and go home an hour early; but I did not want to do that. Actually, I knew what class I wanted to take that I really wanted to do. However, my counselor tried to convince me to take Advanced Marketing or Spanish 1-2; but I diffidently did not want to take those classes at all. I took Marketing sophomore year and I hated it. After 10 minutes and she finally stopped, I told her that I wanted to take Chorus! Then she said ok and I got extremely happy and left.
I was in Choir from 4th Grade until Freshmen year of High School. I started getting interested in Theatre in 8th Grade and Freshmen year I took Chorus and Theatre 1-2 as my electives. Sophomore year I have to chose one to do, so I chose to continue doing Theatre and stopped doing Choir. Now I can do both again, for my Senior year, I am like looking forward to take them :). Nevertheless, the only thing is that I rather forgot how to read music LOL. Therefore, I need my Best Friend to teach me how over the summer LOL.
Here are the classes I am taking Senior Year:
1.Advanced Performance Theatre
2.Algebra 5-6
3.American Government/Economics
4.Language Arts 7-8
5.Mixed Concert Choir
6.Psychology/Sociology
