Let us toast the LGBTQ community tonight. 'RuPaul's Drag Race' won the Emmy for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. The future is now.

To truly understand what this means to the LGBTQ community, read 'The Gay Revolution: The Story of the Struggle.' and appreciate what struggles the community has had to endure.

I'm sad that The Amazing Race or Top Chef didn't win, but I still love both shows.

Also, I grant special kudos to 'Saturday Night Live' for their Emmy win.
