Owen gets carried for having a mild redemption arc, but he ultimately gets cut short of being a character that doesn’t make ANY sense.
He starts as a totally homophobic gross bully, but turns into something totally different with a redemption arc that just in some ways doesn’t fit. He is homophobic but all of a sudden, his brother is the most femme character we have ever seen and he defends him??? It literally doesn’t fit at all.
He becomes Anya’s last relationship where he seems to be a positive and uplifting partner, but as a gay viewer who doesn’t buy into his changes, what am I to do? So anyways BYE OWEN
