The Fallen Tributes for Day 2 will be shown on the 'Night 2' blog. So for now, let's get into Day 2!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REMAINING TRIBUTES:
District 2) Xoxokiller (No Tributes Killed) (Alliance with Snelly and Bklimas)
District 3) Michland143 (Killed SomebodyAwesome) (No Alliance)
I ran... I didn't know for how long, but I kept running, the ground falling down, sloping into the sands of the beach area. Even after the boom of the cannon, I kept running, faster and faster, until the night turned to day.
I was weary, and ready to collapse when I felt myself fall onto the sands of the beach. I struggled to stand, shaking and trembling violently. What scared me was that after I had fallen down, I heard all of the different sounds around the area. The crack of every twig seemed to be a Tribute, ready to take me down.
I finally began to feel energy returning to my limbs, and after managing to pull myself up into a sitting position, I heard another twig crack, but though nothing of it. And then he came.
"It seems I've found a Tribute," A voice jeered, and I span around to see #SmoothStalker12 standing there!
"Oh no! P-Please... D-D-Don't hurt me!" I gasped, pulling myself back across the sands towards the ocean.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you think I wanted to kill a pretty girl like you?" Smoothstalker grinned. "No, I have our best interests at heart. I got away from the Bloodbath with a few things and have been looking for an alliance."
"Wha- Really? T-Then you won't kill me?" I gaped, staring at this boy.
"Well, we all have to die at one point. But I'd like to keep you alive," He smiled, moving his hand to help me up.
I took it gratefully, smiling while twirling my hair in my hand. "Thanks, I'm glad."
After moving away from the small cave, I trudged through the sands, moving towards the greenery in the distance. I decided to head as far off from the Cornucopia as possible, hopefully managing to avoid any Tributes.
The forest surrounded me rather quickly, and as I ate a few more of my dried berries, already half way through the bag, I decided to trek on further into the forest, finally getting some shade from the sun.
I tromped through the sands, hoping to make it to the forest. Looking around, I saw three people walking towards the desert, and as I saw them, they saw me.
They instantly ran the other way, but I couldn't be assed to deal with them. I wasn't feeling as well as I should have. Even though I'd taken some of the Oasis Water, I was feeling rather dizzy...
Reaching the forest, carrying these supplies, I collapsed next to a tree to catch my breath.
"Shit..." I mumbled, feeling so tired, I needed to sleep. Quickly gulping down some more water, I let myself drift away into a deep sleep.
#Xoxokiller and #Bklimas were walking ahead of me as we emerged into the desert. Why we were going there, I had no idea...
Xoxokiller had said it was because less Tributes would go to the desert, and they would kill each other off while we sat there.
Blklimas was easily a trustworthy ally. He was rather kind, and easy-going, despite the games. But, while we were walking through the desert, all of us clambering the sands.
Quickly coming to the edge of the undergrowth, I was ready to trek to the mountains in the arena. The problem is, however, I had to go through the Cornucopia area to get there, and Tributes could be there.
Rushing out into the field, I saw a whole bunch of red patches... Like blood. It was terrifying, and I almost froze up, but I had to continue. Running towards the Cornucopia, I was about to pass the mouth of the structure when I saw something very tempting...
A spear, some throwing knives and a few bags of dried fruits sat there. My mouth was watering from the food there. I needed it, I really needed it, but as I went to step inside, I noticed the small wire at the entrance.
Quickly stepping over the wire, I ran and grabbed the items, quickly stepping back across the wire. And then I ran, sprinting towards the mountain, safe and sound, and now with weapons.
I was walking away from the beach, heading up towards the mountain, however, as I travelled up the mountain path, I was rather worried. Something felt off.
Then there was a crack of falling rocks. Spinning around, all I saw was a figure, and then I jumped back. #Sammyp stood there, glaring at me, and I widened my eyes as I grasped my sword.
He was holding his spear, and as he lunged towards me, I slid to his side, my sword in hand. Slashing at his leg, he slipped down, but as he fell, he tackled me to the ground.
I felt his spear scratch at my side, but I ignored it, taking my chance. I sent my sword straight towards the stomach of Sammyp, and then I heard the cannon. Sammyp was dead.
"Thank God!" I sighed, getting up, moving away from my position on the ground. My wound was practically a scratch, but since Sammyp was around, the Careers could be too. So I quickly moved away from the area, moving towards the Mountains.
Me and #Natepresnell were walking back down from the mountains. Sammyp wanted to go off exploring for a little while longer. I thought it would be okay, but then, as we almost got back to the Cornucopia, a heard the cannon.
"The cannon," Nate grimaced. "Who-"
"It was Sammyp," I sighed, gazing up towards the mountains. I knew it was Sammy dead when the cannon went off. He had gone away, and now he was dead. "C'mon, back to Corn."
"BEAUTY!" I heard Nate gasp. I looked towards him, but he was looking to the Cornucopia. As I turned, I saw what he was looking at.
"Oh my god!" I gasped, seeing the cut open throat of Jeremybb lying there. Why had the hovercraft not picked his body up? Where was Smooth?
"Smooth must have done this. He's not here," Nate glared, looking around the blood-stained Cornucopia.
"Well... That's the Career pack down to two," I sighed, gazing into the Cornucopia. And then my eyes widened. "NATE! YOUR TRAP FAILED!"
"WHA-? The knives, the food, gone...."
"Well then, we'll have to leave Corn. No use staying here now," I grumbled, picking up my supplies. "Let's head towards the desert!"
"Really? Fine," Nate sighed, his permanent grimace gazing at her.
