Growing up did you all receive spankings with a belt or were your parents more of the go to your room or take your electronics type.
I was thinking about this last night, I received both LMAO but I genuinely think the idea of spanking your child with a belt or any object for that matter is wild..
Edit: I dont think in the future I will spank my kids, maybe little pops on the arm or hand here and there until their of age and ill use the electronics method because that is what got through to me definitely not the whoopings.

But him and his wife sometimes used different forms of punishment like making me and my brothers hold heavy ass books for long periods of time.

Bambino looking back on it it’s never bothered me in the slightest or makes me scared of my parents. They only ever hit me and never my sister, I was very badly behaved when I was younger. But I am never going to use it on my future kids

I suppose the only way to justify it is that our parents were brought up to hit our children (I know it’s contradictory us being hit but generation we live in it’s somewhat different?? bambino no i was an extremely well behaved kid, but my parents loved to act like i was the most delinquent kid out there. it was mostly a control thing and empty threats. if i end up with a kid like me, i’d be real happy

i got both punishments but when i lived with mom she'd have me get belts from my oldest sister and she'd get the weak bitch belts so it just abt my acting skills when it came to getting whooped 😭

Fetish The way my parents were the same way, I literally was a stay in the house type of kid I didnt do much of anything but when I did do something trust they we're telling the whole family about it and putting a billboard on the highway with me for most out of control kid.
Daveycool Damn that is traumatizing though as a kid to see and you know its like nothing you could really do in that moment. I used to hate to see my siblings get their whoopings. I lived with my dad the majority of my life he gave out all the whoopings but ill say once I was in highschool it switched to the electronics thing. My mom whooped me once and the one time she did she used a broom and after that she never physically hit me again.
Carriexoxo24xo I definitely understand that, I think what im forgetting to realize is since im the oldest & I was the first kid, they were learning just like I was. And essentially they thought they were doing what was best for us to be better and I really do get that.

Kiki4ever Idk you have to establish ground on who is the kid and who is the parent. Like i said to me spanking me didn’t get through to me it made me cry yea but did it make me never act up again? Absolutely not. But when my dad took my phone for 3 months? Trust i got my shit the fuck together.
