I was actually happy to see a good dialogue on the subject and on this site rather than the usual nonsense that gets posted (which I post myself btw). I do find it rather odd that your blog was removed and I think that you should have been given a reason for it. I think freedom of speech should come back
It would seem that the Tengaged staff are practicing censorship towards anything that could be sensitive. Except they are not being consistent in the matter. The blog did not single out Muslims, it singled out extremists who disrespected a service. Blogs about Westboro Baptist Church disrespecting funerals would have been accepted, as it has been in the past, so I must conclude that the staff have deemed certain topics out of bounds. Except these topics are not 'religion', these are specific groups that we cannot touch. This is pure discrimination.

wow, that was just repeating what was on the news. Most people found it disrespectful it was just the facts.
If there were racist comments they should have deleted those. I am 100 % not racist, I did lots of campaigning againbst the BNP when it was election time.

This is absolutely outrageous! This was a subject that you was very upset about so you wrote this blog to give us facts on what had happened. You were only upset with the minority of muslims that did it. Yet the blog is deleted if it was some kind of offensive blog to muslims.
If it was the comments then surely the moderator can just delete them or ask you to delete them. It just doesn't make any sense. I think that the moderation of this site isn't the worst that I have seen from my time on the internet, but it could still be improved so much more to make this a better place.
Balls was punished for telling us what a "minority" did for offending many people. Yet it seems like the moderation thinks that this is unacceptable and that blogs of this content shouldn't be on tengaged, yet the news sites that have covered this around the world have shown this in much much more detail
So what I'm trying to say is... You don't see the BBC sack their journalists for covering that moment do you ? You don't because the BBC a large corporation does not see anything wrong with it.
