and here memphis_grizzlies is telling everyone where they should get their jobs and how the office setting needs to be tailor-made for their personality type.
Anyone above the age of 20 knows how lucky you are to get your first job/internship offer and how competitive it is to get experience in a position that you enjoy/majored in during college. You dont get to just fucking choose what your job is or what you are doing. You are on the low end of a totem pole and get told what your job description is and hope to get experience to move on to bigger and better things.
If you are currently working a desk job, please dont feel belittled or embarrassed by a 16 year old that has never been in the work place setting before. The current state of the economy is NOT in a place to where you are able to choose your dream job. Most of us are lucky to have jobs that pay us during a time when the government refuses to help us with our expenses.

Gotta call bull on this. Getting a good job after college has nothing to do with luck. Hard, intelligent workers with better communication skills and grades will get a good job. That’s not luck.
You're an actual moron. I'm not trying to tell ppl where to get jobs, im saying many people are not happy in a desk job environment.. Why shouldnt those desk jobs change to a less factory type environment that encourages collaboration, yet still gets the job done? you still dont address that at all.
Why is that so controversial?
Also acting like the job you get is purely luck is insulting to people that work hard as fuck to get their dream job
It’s about who you know. A ton of my friends got jobs where there parents or family members worked. Not based on there merits at all. My gf got a internship a few years ago and people would straight up asked her which parent works there. She was one of the only ones that didn’t have a family member work there. It’s so hard to get into the door at most companies.
memphis_grizzlies I graduated with a CS degree with a 3.5 GPA. I applied to over 100 jobs and got one offer. I don’t have a choice on where I work. I thankfully left that job and got somewhere much better.
Also for the millionth time ive already stated ppl shouldnt turn down their offers, ive literally just said that cubicle culture imo is so flawed and imo its so backwards how you can work with hundreds of people you barely talk to
Getting a good job is easy.
