Why... just... why... :( Oct 13, 2010
For almost the entire episode, I was praying (along with many others I'm guessing) that NaOnka would finally get the boot... but, unfortunately, instead of having a likeable guy who makes some of the best facial expressions and one liners out of everyone on the season stay on, we have probably the most annoying survivor ever still on the show. And that, my friends, is very, very disheartening.

I honestly think it was stupid that the tribe basically voted him out for his reluctance to eat one of the chickens... and barring NaOnka actually throwing in the towel it probably means that she won't be gone anytime soon which REALLY sucks. Especially considering Tyrone was one of my favorites of the season.

My hope is that if Survivor does a 2nd chances season next that Tyrone is on it.

Guess you need to take the good with the bad. Oct 6, 2010
In today's episode I must say I was pretty pissed off when I found that Naonka found the HII... but I did gain some respect for Alina because clearly she shows some sanity by taking Kelly B's side on that whole fued. And props to Kelly for keeping her composure when confronted by Naonka, I can't imagine there being too many people who would be able to do that.

And I'm sure a bunch of people are happy to see Jimmy T go, I read Dalton Ross's blog the other day and saw a bunch of comments saying how they hate him and whatnot... so in a way, that's a win. Although I thought Dan should've been voted out because he didn't really give a good reason to not vote him out and Jimmy even said that he was willing to swallow his pride.

But for me, the biggest win of all is finding out that there will be a tribal swap next episode, as that was exactly what I was hoping for and even posted a comment on Ross's blog on EW saying "Tribal swap! Tribal swap! Tribal swap!" and why I wanted that. I pray to god that Naonka gets stuck on a tribe with Fabio, Kelly B, Alina and Chase and gets blindsided.

Well, I have definitely found my least favorite person of Nicaragua... Sep 29, 2010
After the first couple weeks of the season I wasn't really sure who my least favorite person would be... but now, that question has been answered, and that person is NaOnka. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but holy crap is she ever annoying... and if I was on this season I would probably lose my mind if I had to deal with her. I hope to god that she doesn't find the HII and gets blindsided real soon.

As for the rest of the episode... I felt it was too bad to see Jimmy Johnson go. I'd say what did him in was admitting that he wasn't that strong of a player when everyone else thought they weren't a weak player, if the question wasn't brought up or if Jimmy had lied and said that he didn't feel like a weak player, it might've been a 5-4 vote with Dan going home. Jimmy got put in a bad situation IMO, he probably could've lasted longer with a mix of young and older people. I don't have a big problem with Marty from what I see but I can now see why Rob Cesternino labelled him a villain on his blog.

Still don't think Marty's as big of a villain as NaOnka for the sheer fact that Marty has traits about him that don't, you know, make you want to bash his head in.

La Flor... are they an enigma or just messed up? Sep 22, 2010
Well this episode was definitely an interesting one I must say... Holly was lucky that Espada won that challenge because she was a goner if they lost, no question about that because if you're stealing someone's shoes and making it known, people are gonna want you gone. So she dodged a missile. Marty and Jill look to be in a great position after finding the idol as well.

As for La Flor, I thought for sure that NaOnka would be done but all of a sudden the tribe decided that they wanted to get rid of so-called threats... but overall, I think Shannon all of a sudden asking Sash if he's gay and calling down NYC was what did him in. Maybe it wouldn't have changed anything but I think if he didn't do that it might've been Brenda gone, which I also felt didn't make a lot of sense to me. Clearly Shannon picked the wrong time to start being abrasive, if he did it post-merge then maybe he'd stay because he'd be an easy person to beat.

The people who said that NaOnka would be a polarizing figure were definitely right, if you respect honesty then I can see why you might like her, but at the same time, she has that strong personality that can make you disliked quite easily. As for Fabio... it's hilarious listening to him talk and watching him try to do things around camp because of how dumb he is... I mean, why are you putting your face so damn close to the fire?

Wendy... *facepalm* Sep 15, 2010
Hey guys I'm back with my Survivor blog even though I've been away from the games for a while due to school starting again. Anyway I will begin the Survivor Nicaragua blog now.

The tribal council showed one thing... don't talk so much at tribal if you really don't have to. The very second Wendy interrupted Jeff to say one more thing I knew that she was gonna get everyone's vote, and it's not often that I can see tribal result from a mile away. She started digging her grave when she said "maybe I'll start talking".

I'm also pleased that the one I selected in my work's Survivor pool, Jane, got off to such a good start. I can see her going quite far in this game.
