It could mean multiple different things, it's possible she's trying to make you jealous, she also may just be scared to ever appear alone, I feel like a lot of people get this mindset "well everyone's gonna think I'm a loser if they hear I've been dumped so I just gotta be with someone" a lot of the time the girl will actually start pulling away and manipulate you into breaking up with her so she doesn't feel guilty about getting with someone else so fast, it's kinda like monkey branching.
1001games some people need rebounds after big breakups like that. Then there are people of both genders who are just “relationship” people. They’re always in a relationships and that’s probably more of an insecure kind of thing, but I don’t know her. Focus on bettering yourself always my guy
