Lots of people played HARD over the past month, putting in time and effort that honestly none of the hosts had anticipated. For that, we are SUPER grateful, and know that narrowing it down to three nominees was pretty hard, let alone choosing only one of those three. The nominees for PLAYER OF THE SEASON are…
BRENDAN – Coming in the game with an established group of friends puts the odds in your favor, but it also puts the eyes on you. You were sought after for many rounds in this game, but you were always able to cushion yourself within both sides to know you were never going home. You had a handful of close friends at the start of the game, and you ruined basically none of those relationships, showing the mastery of your social game.
NATHAN – We would be lying if we said we expected you to clinch this nomination at the merge! Unlike a vast majority of this game, you were pretty disconnected from this cast prior to the game. And, you were written off by many players (and perhaps the hosts, too) as an easy boot that could happen at any point. Despite the odds being against you, you kicked your game into overdrive in the endgame, positioning yourself as the swing, winning competitions, and making bold moves that showed you were absolutely here to play all along.
SHYANNE – Playing a game that was based in being mostly honest and always blunt couldn’t have really worked for any other player here. You knew that you were probably in the best spot for a vast majority of this game, where neither side ever planned on touching you because they either genuinely wanted to work with you, or they needed your vote. But, even with this in mind, you never went on a game-ending power trip, and had luck been on your side at the rock draw leading to your demise, it is very likely you make it here, and even more likely that you could pull out a victory.
