Sixteen students have accepted the only ticket they will ever get to move up in society. The first day of school for them, the 90th Class of Hope's Peak Academy, is about to begin.

Though it seems like they vanished from the outside world, everyone somehow made it to the school's newest facility, built specially for them. If you look at all of the factors, however, the situation the students are about to find themselves in is anything but ordinary.

However, by becoming members of the 90th Class, they have unwittingly put themselves in extreme danger... and not the mild threat expected from the rebels.

No, they are about to find themselves in a game of life and death. Over the course of this game, they will learn the true meaning of hope and despair... if they manage to survive.
