Actually if you know verbal cues and lie detection liars do one of two things
1. try to over sell. They through in to many words, and A LOT of descriptive words
or
2. Try to be as short and non-descriptive as possible.

That is pretty damn short. Liars who take the short path try not to say anyones name or give any details. So instead of saying "Drew is not with me" which is a more honest response you say "He isn't" which makes it easier to say.
