*Zach goes into his tent
We have almost 10,000 men with the reinforcements that arrived today. She has only a little over 7500. But where they lack in numbers they reign in military experience. I want all 5000 archers to draw on my command and fire on my command only. I want 2500 on horseback charging into their forces with the rest to follow. We chase them back to the castle and take it.

Our goal is to simply not let them take the castle by any and all means. I want my archers poised, shooting for their middle, not their front runners. The people in the middle will do the most damage once they get past our front lines.

Jorgen:Why not reinforce the front line?

Joanna:Because then if our front line falls we are fucked. We need to have a back up plan ready.

*Zach steps out of his tent, Drake by his side, truly just watching since he's never led a battle like Zach has.

Zach:Archers draw.
*His archers draw
Aim wide.

Joanna:Archers draw.
*her archers draw
Fire beyond the horses.

Zach:When I command the archers, I want the cavalry to go as well. The foot soldiers wait for my command.

Zach:Fire.
*the archers fire and the horses start charging

*Joanna sees the horses charge, her front line put up their shields defending the arrows, not one man drops
Joanna:Fire.

*Joanna's archers fire over the horses and land on the ground since the footmen haven't charged yet.

Zach:*smirks
Footmen, go.

*Joanna stands up
That snarky shit head outsmarted me.

*Zach's footmen begin charging

*Nikolai's son, Nikolai commands Joanna's front line.

Nikolai:Men, shields down, spears out.

*Zach sees them prepare spears
What? They were spearmen?

*Jorgen commands Joanna's foot soldiers who were hiding behind the shieldsmen
Men up.
*they rise, swords and shields in hand

Zach:*takes a deep breath knowing Joanna has now outsmarted him

*Joanna and Zach continue to call for their archers to fire

*Joanna's front line use their spears for one good throw from all of them before drawing their swords

Nikolai:NOW!
*they throw their spears, some hitting men, some hitting horses, horses fall, men are trampled by others horses
*those that do make it through begin beheading the men who threw spears, but are being caught now by Joanna's swordsmen, Zach's are too far back to help. Zach's cavalry are also being taken out by Joanna's archers in the trenches

Zach:*stands up
SOMEONE DO SOMETHING FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

*Joanna smiles, leaning back in her chair
Perfect.

*Zach's swordsmen finally catch up and the battle continues to ensue

Joanna:*notices the battle becoming a bit more even
FALL BACK

*Jorgen turns
What?

Joanna:You heard me. West, away from the castle.

*Jorgen, still using his battle ax to fight
You heard her! Fall back to the east!

*Zach stands up
They're retreating. FOLLOW THEM.
*Zach gets on his horse
Ill claim this victory for my sister.
Drake stay her and command the archers.

*Zach follows behind the troops as Joanna's men keep falling back
The old woman has gotten scared in her old age.

*Joanna takes a deep breath as her men fall back toward the sea

*Zach and his horse stop where Joanna is
Zach:You've grown weak Aunt Joanna

*Joanna looks afraid,until Zach rides on
*she then smirks
Foolish men. They think they win part of a battle and the whole thing is there's.

*As Zach gets closer to the sea, he sees ships in the docks with sails from the Bourbon Islands
*Zach stops on his horse, realizing now he is out numbered
RETREAT! RETREAT!
*He goes to turn and his horse gets shot in the face with an arrow, Zach falls off the horse

*Zach comes face to face with Jorgen

Jorgen:We meet again.

Zach:*draws his sword
Let's go.

*Jorgen and Zach have a stand off before battling ax and sword
