There was a picture. That was it all that was in his pocket. A picture of his wife, daughter, and son. They had left for a survivor camp in Denver back in the early days when he was getting drunk every night to forget about all of the death around him.
Now he was journeying east to find them. Mountains surrounded him; coldness awaiting him at every turn. There was a town up ahead now. Maybe he could stop there for the night...
