Photoshoot #4

"Winner's Circle"

Hello Top 10, today will be hitting an exciting photoshoot, because for this week you'll experience how it feels to be a winner. Yes, because for today's photoshoot you are going to portray the groundbreaking winners of Next Top Model, namely - L, Ebony, Karlie, Edward, Marlon, Lindsey, Cara, Lucky, Saskia, Augusta, Lenox, Garrett and Yoon Young.

For this photoshoot, each of the judges have assigned you to a past winner of the cycle in the sense of how you are going to portray that winner who is completely different from you and your zone, to challenge each capabilities. It will be a hard challenge, it's a way for us to make sure we have the right models on top.

Now don't be too shallow on how you will interpret the winners, not just because e.g. someone has a lot of sitting photos, you'll do a sitting one. Go outside your comfort zone, and explanation is highly necessary.

In Lindsey pics she is always having different hairstyles, so I wanted to give myself a new hairstyle too. She also gives that bad girl vibe who doesn't care about anything in her pictures so I wanted to do the same with this one. Not only that, but she seems to care a lot about little details and decoratins everything, so I did that too with the banana, the motorbike...

I think the only thing Lucky and I have in common is that both our names start with the letter "L". That being said, I had so much fun studying his portfolio and taking inspiration from him for this picture.

The first thing I noticed is that in almost every picture Lucky tilts his head and stares directly into the camera. His sense of fashion consists of mostly black, white or grey clothing that is very much in style, but yet is still quite simple. I've also taken inspiration from his first three pictures to have a background of only one color that helps me to stand out in the picture. This was a step out of my comfort zone because I took a step back from my usually extravagant photos and poses and muted it down a bit.

Yoon Young always modeled exotic clothing. Every single one of her outfits was so unique and different it was like a whole new experience in each photo so I tried to portray that and go for a different style in my photos much like she always did. She also had numerous photos where she was either in black and white clothing or the photo itself was grey scaled so I also wanted to incorporate that as well

What resonated with me the most about Lenox's portfolio (besides the fact that her go to color is black! lol) is that a lot of her photos have a combination of both edge and vulnerability that I'm absolutely obsessed with! Sometimes she's in a completely dark edgy look, but looks super soft and effortless in the face (https://postimg.cc/pyxj5F5L )  and other times she has a face that looks like a weird mix of vulnerable and fierce that just works very well imo (https://postimg.cc/68Tn5x2V ).

To portray Lenox, I'm in all black, and giving you guys a mixture of edge and vulnerability in my face and pose.
