Challenge #4

"Music Genres"

Hi guys! For today's challenge, you are to create music genres more alive, as you are to make them live. Today I would give you two genres that I'd think best fits your character, and what you are to do is to pick one of the two which you think fits you more - and apply that genre in a photo.

You are to question yourself now for example, "what if jazz is a person, what would his/her style be, what would be his/her look?" and apply it in your photo. This would be judge ofcourse by Judge Carly who we know has her successful show Stardom!

This will be a 24 hour challenge, your genres would be below. Goodluck!

I have chosen this photo because it seems very appropriate for this challenge. It is in black and white and looks vintage, it also has a kind of coat with a pretty folk pattern.

Since i'm a KPOP singer, this challenge would be easy to me right? NO.
Korean Pop and Ocidental pop are very different, clothes, make up, dance, everything, if i do a photoshot like kpop, probably people will give me a low rank, so this night, i'm trying to act like an ocidental pop singer. Hope you enjoy!

I have chosen to represent the classical genre because I wanted to show versatility in my look to the judges. I decided on a traditional formal look (white button down and black slacks), but I had to add some Augusta sex appeal because that's just me. I'm seated on a bench and ready to grab my viola from its case and keep practicing :)

I have chosen the classical theme as my picture represents the classical music genre more. Most of the time when you think of classical music you might think of Beethoven or Bach and where nowadays can you go dressed up to see classical music being performed. Why a orchestra that performs classical music so for my photo I am portraying the more classical side.

This was probably the HARDEST shoot for me to date because I don't think Romee even has ANY shoots at all that embrace Jazz or Soul so I had to dig deep to find what was needed. Anyway, I feel like this shot really embodies Jazz culture as it's a nod to the 80's, where Jazz was at it's peak. Nonetheless, I think I look good and I think I actually embody a young, aspiring singer.
