"Public Figures"

Welcome to your ninth photoshoot, you made it this far, I'm so proud with all of you. With that being said, for your photoshoot today we are to portray some figures - some iconic people who have made their mark in the industry, may it be in fashion, music, movies, technology, and even the country. So, this will be a "first come, first pick" photoshoot.

There are to be 12 icons below, you can pick any gender, just to be fair. And ofcourse with your photo, you are to explain why you pick that particular icon and how it relates to the photo you are presenting.

It will be a 36 hour photoshoot, failure to submit on time means deduction of points again. Goodluck!

Public Figures:

Audrey Hepburn - was a British actress, model, dancer and humanitarian. Recognised as a film and fashion icon.

Elvis Presley  - was an American singer, musician, and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".

James Dean - was an American actor. He is remembered as a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment and social estrangement, as expressed in the title of his most celebrated film, Rebel Without a Cause (1955), in which he starred as troubled teenager Jim Stark.

Princess Diana - was a member of the British royal family as the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the British throne. She was the mother of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry.

Ryan Gosling - a Canadian actor and musician. He is the first person born in the 1980s to have been nominated for the Best Actor Oscar (for Half Nelson (2006)).

Steve Jobs - was an American entrepreneur, business magnate, inventor, and industrial designer. He was the chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), and co-founder of Apple Inc.; CEO and majority shareholder of Pixar

When I think of being a humanitarian, I think of world peace and everyone getting along, so in this photo, I tried to embody a peaceful state of mind, bearing in mind thinking about all the stuff people go through on a daily basis and I feel this photo embodies that and shows the emotion as well as a sense of peace and calmness that the world needs. And this is what Audrey Hepburn strived for.

In taking this shot, I'm inspired by the iconic 70s style that John Lennon and Yoko Ono were a huge part of creating. My shot captivates the beauty standards of that era to the t, posing as if I was a member of John's band myself.
