“So You Think You Can Judge”

Hello models! Today’s challenge is brought to you by our lovely judge, Judge Carly and here’s what she stated for your challenge.

“Models have spent all season being judged and now they will do their best to capture the judge of their choice's personality and avatar style. Each judge has their own unique avatar style and way of judging. Models must explain why they selected the judge they did and how their shot represents them.

Judges’ portrayal is limited to only two so for example, two people already pick Carly, you can’t pick it again. 24 hours for the challenge, Goodluck!

So, to be honest, i think Lucky is the laziest judge about this entire game. He never write like other judges, its unique? Yes, but VERY lazy. That's why i'm being lazy in my shot, just like him!

So, he uses a red haired avatar with a coat (green), i couldnt find a green coat, so i'm using a nude one.

I chose this shot because of a number of reasons

1-the facial expression they share is very similar and this leads me into my next point

2-I could see that the avatar shows someone who is very energetic and fun just like my shot shows

3-I also fealt marlons presence more on me cause even though I don’t know shit about him I instantly saw a connection through I massive love for pokemon(I hope he’s ready for Pokémon sword and shield) and also for his love for watching big brother(lol I did my research😅)

Watching those shows shows a guy who likes competition and likes being competitive , someone that’s energetic and fun and just all around likes having a good time, I mean who doesn’t and my shot shot shows the energetic side and also avatar personality it traits and then we both have a liking for similar things too...PS: I added you as a friend, my Pokémon brother ❤️

i chose judge carly, a judge who often provides a closer eye when it comes to judging when considering her inclusion of the overall production and quality of the photo as well. i decided to convey her eye such by providing a high quality shot with fitting lighting. as for incorporating her avatar, i recognized her style to be quite reminiscent of the "mod" era from the london 60s and used that as well to portray.

For me, Carly has got to be one of my favourite judges as she is fair but firm.The way she portrays herself is extremely knowledgeable whilst giving off this friendly aura. I invision her in this smiley, happy go lucky state and wanted to reflect that as I view her as exactly that. Her judging skills is extremely fair and I feel like out of all the judges she makes her points in a nice manner. As for her avatar the styling of the clothes and the short bob cut to me is very mod and wanted to reflect that in this picture with the styling of the clothing and the hair whilst the face being the ulimate focus with the smile.

Shaun as Jerard

I chose this shot to represent Jerard editorial appearance and yet appearing demure and well-rounded as an individual. I chose the colour scheme to match Jerard's current appearance with the contrasting blonde and black juxtaposing one another to add a sense of high fashion and quality to the representation. His judging is constructive yet strong and this is represented in Shaun's expression. I hope you like the shot.

The judge I chose today is Jerard. He is always straight forward and knows exactly what he is looking for. When he likes something he'll say it if he doesn't he'll say it. In a word he is professional. That word is what I associate with Jerard and that is what I will base my photo off of.

And I'm late again. Seems like I do have a worse record of "being late" in this cycle than my original cycle.

Sui He as Judge Garrett

Judge Garrett is a new addition in this series' panel of judges. What I love about him is his honest critiques. He doesn't hold back. He says what is in his mind without sugarcoating his words. I think he has the equilibrium of being tough and being nice. If we did poorly in the shoot, he would let us know. If we did good, he wouldn't stop himself praising us. I can relate to him as a judge when I was judging the previous cycles. He's verrry me!

In terms of his avatar look, I think it's simple but has an impact. So I pick this photo to embody the simple Garrett but still maintaining the model look and aura.

You certainly captured Marlon’s outgoing personality and I love the facial expression. The text is the only think I don’t care for, but other than that you did a good job establishing the connection.

- Chanel Iman (SeongWoo)
In terms of capturing Lucky’s style, I can see the connection. To me, his style is unique and mixes from the typical. You showed that with this shot and I love the styling. The red hair is a nice touch as well.

- Cody Christian (MJFJUNE)
I must say, this is one of your best shots to date. I love the styling and overall quality of the shot. You captured Jerard’s personality well and also managed to make this a stand out shot for yourself.

This is probably one of my favorite shots of yours this season. I do feel you captured Jerard’s cool/casual style. But more importantly, you made this your own and the styling is great!

Styling is strong and I love the attitude you’re exuding with this shot. You also did a good job making the connection with Garrett’s judging and avatar style.
