Lawyer: Hi Emily, Just wanted to give you an update on your case. Alex was issued a restraining order this afternoon. We also scheduled an arraignment for next week. You don’t have to worry about him bothering you anymore, Emily.

Emily: Thank you so much! You’ve been really great through all of this.

*walks to the door slipping the key into the lock, but the door pops open, unlocked*

^hmm weird…Martin must already be home^

*walks inside while still on the phone with my lawyer. Flips the light switch on but the house remains dark*

Martin? Are you here?

Lawyer: --Yes, we could really…really use some concrete evidence to help the case.

Emily: I know, I wish I could-
*walks further into the dark house and gets grabbed from behind*

*Struggles and tries to scream  as he knocks me to the floor*

Lawyer: --Emily? Emily…what’s going on?

*struggles with my attacker, my feet kicking against the floor as I claw at his hands, trying to fight off the violent assault until one final blow knocks me unconscious*

*A short time later Alex casually walks out of the house*

*Emily lays on the floor unconscious after the attack*

*The lawyer calls the police and an ambulance arrives rushing Emily to the hospital*
