Madison woke up in her new bed from a nightmare, screaming. Her new mommy came in the room and turned on the light.
"Honey, are you okay?"
"I had a bad dream..."
"Oh sweetie." Mrs. Cole went to her new daughters bedside and tucked her back in. "It's okay. It was just a dream."
She kisses Madisons forehead.
"Go back to sleep." She turned her light off and shut the door.
Madison laid there in the witch costume new mommy let her wear to bed. She stared at the tv, scared, but the screen remained dark...

As Nick is gathering firewood, he trips and falls. He hits his head on a rock, and remembers...

NICK:

Nick, Stu, and Ethan had split up in the forest to find firewood for the bonfire upon Father Andrew’s instruction. Nick placed an armful of wood in a pile and kept searching for more. He added several armfuls to the pile before noticing he wasn’t getting any help from his friends.
“Yo, guys, what the fuck?” Nick approached his friends in the forest and looked between them.

Stu and Ethan did not acknowledge Nick, but instead kept collecting rocks and placing them in a pile.
“Hellooooooo?” Nick waved his arms. “You can’t burn rocks last time I checked…”
He waited for a response but didn't get one.
“Fine, screw you guys, I’m going inside.” Nick turned around towards the manor and let out a small scream, “Jesus FUCK Chloe you scared the shit out of me!”
Chloe stood there and looked between him and the boys with a blank expression.

After making sure the boys are collecting rocks, Chloe addressed Nick.
“Do you want to go watch tv?”

Evelyn:

Evelyn and Sister Abigail had finished icing the desserts so they moved to help put up the remainder of the decorations.
“Is this everything that’s left?” Sister Abigail peered into a box with minimal decorations and then looked at all the blank space on the walls. Sister Sophia shook her head from the entry way.
“No, I believe there is another box or two in the attic.” She motioned up the stairs.
Sister Abigail nodded and handed a decoration from the current box to Evelyn.
“Okay, I’ll be right back. I have to go get more decorations from the attic. You put this wherever you want it okay?” Sister Abigail smiled.
“Don’t go.” The little girl looked afraid as she tugged on the nun’s dress. “There’s a monster up there…”
Sister Abigail gave her a sweet look and knelt down to Evelyn’s eye level.
“Sweetie. There’s no such thing as monsters..”
“Uh huh. I saw it.”
Sister Abigail senses the fear in Evelyns voice.

ROSE:

Rocky led Rose by the hand down a long hallway and into a large circular room with towering columns.

“Whoa.” Rose took it all in. The impossibly tall ceiling. The columns. The spiral staircase in the center.
“It’s amazing, right?” Rocky watched her look around in awe.
“Its…” She was lost for the words as she moved around. “What is this place?”
Rose makes her way to the spiraling staircase and looks down it.
“Does it end?”
Rocky nods.
“Yep. You just can’t see it from here.”
Rose nods along with him.
“I can’t believe this is real…”
“What? Did you think I was lying” Rocky teases. Rose rolls her eyes and continues to look down the staircase, searching for the bottom. Rocky reaches his hand out for hers again.
“Come on.”
He grabs her hand and the two of them descend the staircase together.

CHLOE:

Last night, Chloe slept soundly in her old room until she was woken up by her tv turning on.

She stared into the static. . .
After several moments, she turned her gaze to her window. As the static grew louder, she climbed out of bed. When she made it to the window she looked down at the ground with the same dazed expression. She opened the window and jumped.

When her head cracked against the concrete the tv in her room shut off.

THEO:

Last night, Theo awoke from a dream when he heard his door click open. He turned towards the doorway and rubbed sleep from his eyes.
“Rocky?”
Rocky moved across the room and sat on Theo’s bed. Now that he was closer, Theo could tell that Rocky was crying.
“Rocky, whats wrong, man? It’s the middle of the night..”
Rocky sniffled and turned his head to Theo.
“You know you’ll always be my little brother, right? You always have been.”
Theo looked worried and sighed, laying his head back down.
“I know, Rocky. And I missed you, too, but it’s 3 in the morning almost” Theo yawned.
Rocky sighed and got up from the bed.
“I know.” Rocky hesitated for a moment. “I love you, Theo.”
In one motion, Rocky grabbed the pillow under Theo’s head and covered his face with it. Rocky put his weight on his brother and held the pillow down while Theo thrashed around. Rocky held the pillow there until Theo’s muffled screaming stopped and his body lay still.

MADISON:

Last night, Madison booked a flight in her room and then carried her luggage downstairs to the foyer. It was the dead of night and she planned to dip out while everyone else slept soundly. Sure, they’d miss her but she was NOT going to miss them.
“Going somewhere?” Madison was caught off guard by Rocky at the bottom of the steps.
“Oh. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm…” She tried her best to think of an excuse.
“It’s fine, really. I totally understand. Look I’ll give you a hand” Rocky laughed and picked up one of her heavier suitcases.
Madison hesitantly grabbed the other, lighter bags..
“Oh, thank you..” She replied nervously.
He waited for her to go and motioned when she didn’t.
“After you…”
She looked at him apprehensively, caught of guard by his reaction.
“You’re not like.. totally pissed I’m ditching the circle jerk?”
Rocky laughs.
“Well I’d be more pissed if I didn’t get here in time to stop you.”
He raises the heavy suitcase above his head and then brings it down on hers. Madison falls to the floor unconscious, as blood pools around her head.

Rocky watches the blood pool before smashing the suitcase on her head several times.

OLIVER:

Oliver was in the church at the apple bobbing barrel with Chloe, Susie, Penelope, Oliver, Izzy, and Evelyn. Father Andrew poured more apples from a bucket into the water in the barrel.

“Alright! Who wants to go next?” Father Andrew placed the empty bucket on a pew.
“You go!” Chloe shouted.
Father Andrew laughed and shook his head.
“Do it!” Chloe encouraged him.
“Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!” The children all began to chant. Father Andrew laughed again and held his hands up to silence them.
“Alright, children, alright calm down” He laughed and cleared his throat. He got on his knees in front of the barrel and removed his clerical collar.
“Let’s see if I can get one by the stem” He said and the children cheered him on. When he put his head in the water Chloe nodded to Oliver. As Father Andrew came up with an apple, Oliver hit him over the head with a wooden cross.

OSCAR:

Oscar burst out of the Chapel and ran towards the manor screaming.
“HELP! HELP!” He ran through the darkness towards the bonfire. He could see Sister Rosemary near the fire as she picked up her dress skirt and ran to him.
“OSCAR! Whats wrong?! Where is everyone?!”
“Help! Help us! He’s hurt!” Oliver grabbed the nun by the arm and pulled her to the chapel. They ran there together as fast as they could.
“Who? Who is hurt?” Sister Rosemary threw open the door to the chapel and saw Father Andrew strung up on the cross.

STU:

Stu stood on the side of the manor, throwing rocks at the windows. He kept missing but eventually managed to shatter one on the second story.
“HEY! KNOCK THAT OFF!” Sister Agnes came storming over. “Where is Sister Rosemary?”
Sister Agnes looked around but saw no one.
“ROSEMARY! ABIGAIL!” The nun called out. When she made it to Stu she stopped a few yards from him.
“Drop the rocks, now.” She demanded.
Stu tossed one in the air and caught it again.
“NOW.” Sister Agnes began closing the gap between them.
Stu launched a rock at Anges, stopping her dead in her tracks.
“HEY! You little shit” She ran at him, but before she could get any closer Stu threw another rock and hit her on her head. She fell to the ground dazed and put her hand on her bleeding temple. Stu picked up a heavier rock and dropped it on the nuns head.

ETHAN:

When Sister Agnes came to, she was duct taped to a tree in the middle of the woods. She was still a bit dazed and she could feel that the back of her hair was wet with blood.
“What’s.. Whats going on” The words struggled to escape from her lips.
A twig snapped next to her and she turned her head. Ethan came from behind the tree with a flashlight and walked in front of Agnes, away from the tree.
“Ethan…?”
Ethan stopped a few yards away from his aunt and turned around to face her. Sister Agnes watched as several other kids came out from behind various trees and joined Ethan.

IZZY:

Sister Rosemary stood shell shocked at the sight of Father Andrew’s crucifixion as Oliver and Oscar closed the door behind her. Sister Rosemary jerked around.
“What happened?!”
The boys stare at her and give no response.
“Answer me.” She was more firm this time but the fear in her voice was still palpable. As the boys stared at the nun, Izzy popped up from behind a church pew and stabbed Sister Rosemary with a kitchen knife.
Sister Rosemary let out a shriek as Izzy took the knife out and stabbed her again. The nun stumbled back towards the cross and fell down. She crawled backwards as several more children rose from behind pews armed with various knives and shears.
She tried to get up but the children ran at her and plunged their knives deep into her as Father Andrew watched from above.

“Why aren’t you at the party?” Liam walked into Lillian's room where she sat on her bed in her costume.
Lillian shrugged.
“But you put on a costume.” Liam pointed out. He sat on the bed with Lillian.
“Do you not feel good?”
Lillian shook her head.
“It’s not that.” She was picking at her costume, pulling on the fabric. “I’m just scared.”
“Why? You don’t have to be scared. We can protect each other” Liam smiled.
Lillian wasn’t comforted.
“Yeah, but... Last time we had a Halloween party everyone died…”
