THEME INFORMATION
The Hosts have decided the this month’s theme contest will be “Covers”. This is probably the most requested theme and one that some of the other hosts are really excited for as well. Cover version. In popular music, a cover version or cover song, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording of a previously recorded, commercially released song by someone other than the original artist or composer.
Rules for this themed contest:
-It does not matter if the cover version has charted or not
- It does not matter what year the cover version was released
-Cover versions of original songs that have already been entered in TSC WILL be allowed in this contest (For example Agnes Obel’s Riverside was entered before, but a cover version of that song would be allowed)
- Any cover songs that were entered before the ‘covers rule’ was put in place WILL NOT be allowed in this contest, so check the TSC document to ensure it has not been entered during that time.
Standard rules for a song to be eligible it must:
-Be 5:00 in length or shorter (you will incur a one point penalty for each second over 5:00)

-Have a YouTube video that is embed-enabled.
-Be a studio or professional live recording.
