Character Bio: Jean was born to two poor immigrants that came to New York for a better life. Her mother is Korean, while her father is Japanese. Her parents didn't believe in abortion, and because they were too poor to take care of a child, they gave Jean up for adoption. Jean was born and raised in New York City, never even knowing she was adopted until she turned 16. One day she was being sneaky and looking through her adoptive parents things, when she saw the adoption papers. Jean was devastated and wanted to know who her real parents were, so she took the information from the papers and ran away to Denver. She soon found out where they lived. When she got to Denver she found out her parents were now wealthy and they had started a family. Her parents were so shocked to see her and they welcomed her with open arms. They cried and told her that they only gave her up for adoption so she could have a better life and that they didn't want to interfere with her new life which is why they never contacted her. Jean was filled with tears and she was happy to meet her brother and sisters who were a lot younger than her. After joining her biological family, when she turned 19 a horrible tragedy struck her life. Jean was out getting groceries when two armed men broke into her house while her family was still inside and robbed and killed them. It was huge and everyone was talking about it. Jean was traumatized and had to go through immense therapy to get herself back together again.

- Today Jean is still coping with the loss of her family.  Because she was  the only child left, she inherited all her parents money. She has addiction problems and she drinks alcohol and does drugs regularly. She finds it hard to keep friends because of her blunt and ditzy persona and she still has moments where she breaks down, but she is trying to keep her head up and live a normal life. She works the bar as a bartender, only so she can have fun and meet new people so she can keep her mind off everything complicated in life. She also has dreams of becoming a model and does local photoshoots from time and time to build her portfolio.
