Alright, today’s elimination is called “King of the World” and is inspired by this elimination from The Challenge: War of the Worlds:
https://www.facebook.com/mtvthechallenge/videos/balls-to-the-wall/10155714070677285/ Here’s how it works. Each round, I will say a trivia question that could be related to literally anything and drop 5 balls with 5 different answers on them. Here’s how a question I post might look.
—
Question) Who is the current Vice President of the United States?
A. Donald Trump
B. Joe Biden
C. Nancy Pelosi
D. Mike Pence
E. Mitch McConnell
*drops balls*
—
Your goal is to grab the ball with the correct answer on it and put it in your bin. So, since Mike Pence is the correct answer. You’re looking to put Ball D in your bin.
To pick up a ball say *grabs ball _* (letter of ball you want to grab, NOT the answer)
And to place your ball in your bin, say *puts ball in bin*
There is only 1 of each ball, so if your opponent grabs a ball, then you grab it, you have nothing in your hands.
But this isn’t your standard speed trivia comp, see, this elimination is PHYSICAL. If your opponent has a ball you want that they haven’t put in their bin, post *tackles Shawn and steals his ball* or *tackles John and steals his ball*, depending on who you are.
When you do that, if your opponent has a ball in their hands, you will take it from them, and they’ll be left without a ball, so if they try to put a ball in their bin, nothing will happen. And you don’t have to say *grabs ball _*, you can just take the ball you stole and put it straight in your bin.
And if you opponent steals your ball, you can steal it back before they place it in their bin.
Rules for weird scenarios:
If you have a ball in your hands when you try to tackle and steal, you will drop that ball back on the floor no matter what, and it can be grabbed again.
If you try to tackle and steal from your opponent when they don’t have a ball, nothing will happen I guess? Other than you just dropping the ball you currently have if you have one.
When the first person successfully places a ball in their bin, it ends the round. If correct, they score a point. If INCORRECT, their opponent scores. The first person to 3 points wins the duel and lives to fight another day. Loser is out of here.
So this elimination is NOT just about finding and posting the answer faster than your opponent. There’s a level of strategy at play, and you can also outsmart your opponent.
