It's racist due to your phrasing. Saying "i dont want to date a particular race" sounds like race is your determining factor on who you date. You can say "i dont date people i dont find attractive" and leave it at that.
But yout reasoning explains why. If you're like 'I would never date a guy, I'm only attracted to women because of X Y Z (pussy, tits whatever) that's cool.
If you're like 'I'm not a fag, I'd die before I'd ever date a gay guy' you're a homophobe because you're not saying stating a preference, you're actively avoiding gays.

The thing about people always spewing that something is racist is because black people never stop feeling oppressed. Most of the time they honestly oppress themselves. They feel bad about not comparing to white people. W/ equality, w/ looks, w/ education... They realize white people are generally more attractive & for people to say they aren’t attracted to black people, they just feel insecure & inferior. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Sexuality and racism are two entirely different things. Obviously if you’re heterosexual you’re not going to be attracted to another male. Not because you’re homophobic but rather because there is no attraction since well you’re attracted to the opposite gender so obviously a relationship would never blossom from that.
But you choosing a particular race among those you are attracted to can be racist but who’s really to say. Everyone has their preference and only that person knows why they choose a particular race to date. Overall, the comparison you made is kinda dipsy of you. Glad I can clarify.
