oh queen the problem isn't your background, it's your dress :( it's designed to have a cinched waist, so there is the little gap on it. I have that dress too, it's super cute but I have a gap if I put on a background.

wait, on closer inspection, your skin might have the border gap too, cuz I put my dress on and I have a gap too but mine is a little smaller. A lot of the skinny skins have the built in gap :/ some designers have been making them borderless though, I have a borderless one now so I can wear backgrounds.
So a new skin or new dress, or else a hair that covers both sides of your waist could help.
