think y2k stylish early 00s girl-centric teen coming of age movie a la 'coyote ugly', 'jawbreaker', 'clueless', 'bring it on', etc. this would play at the background of a sleepover scene where the ponytail wearing MC gets a makeover from all the pretty popular girlies. a true cultural reset
So in my mind, this round sounds like to me, to build a coming of age soundtrack and like create this little movie doing it with everyones submissions, so I went with the ending song that would be the playoff into the credits. I think this song just encaptures a coming of age story ending really well and I can just imagine the narration relating to this as the fade out ends. A nice closer <3
Everybody is doing descriptions, I will too. Mirrorball would play in a teen romance movie, a big love moment in the ballroom where two lovers are dancing closely, slowly and intimately together.
honestly this song speaks for itself but i TOTALLY see it as the like "driving down the highway euphoria" type song that always plays either very early on in the movie before the stakes raise or near the end after the conflict has been resolved.
