So the new season of Big Brother kicked off in style as always. The clique twist is a unique one and has already made in impact on nominations. Winning stops you from choosing clique-mates for nomination which affected who became replacement nominee this week.
Anyways, the HoH Comp ended with an awful result - Jesse. UGH. He's more annoying than last year. The athlete clique ruled over the House, which sucks for me because it's my least favourite overall. Jesse is annoying, I can't stand Russell and Natalie, who I name "The Little Wasp", can be irritating too at times.
I don't mind Jeff though, who would have been nominated if he was in another clique. Instead that went to Braden who showed us in Episode 3 he's a fruitloop and in Episode 4 that he can be a very offensive person (remember Chima's censored speech?).
Lydia was seen a lot this week and showed a whole range of emotions. She's been chirpy and happy at Russell doing her a favour, a crybaby when she was nominated, and short-fused and loud when she shouted at Jordan. Also, her and Kevin are almost literally joined at the hip! Odd...
Back to Jordan. She could land herself in trouble if she reacts to shouting and tension too much, and may be nominated soon.
The POV Comp was a yucky one and difficult too. The jerk won it with a 7-letter word which is probably the longest he knows. And of course, he had a go at Jeff for barely any reason at all which I thought was horrible.
Eviction time, and Ronnie ends Braden's game by taking the vote to a 5-5 tie. Then wins HoH. Oh dear, I can't trust Ronnie since he made the deal with the 3 Athletes. I reckon Jeff and Jordan are going on the block, with Laura as potential replacement nominee. This sucks because I like the anti-Athletes - Jeff, Jordan, Laura, Michele and Casey. But they are outnumbered by the Athlete troop - Jessie, Russell, Natalie, Ronnie, Lydia, Kevin and Chima.
I don't think I'll enjoy watching Week 2 unfold...
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I WON my 4th Castings and I have finally reached Yellow!! No offence to anyone in White level but it sucked there.
Well the wait is over and we finally know the identities of this season's HouseGuests (bar one). I've had a look at the HG bios, and...
the 12 already known are:
Braden - I'm not liking the sound of this guy. Apparently he's cocky so that's a real big no in my books.
Casey - 41 years old, 5th grade teacher by day, DJ by night. Holy cow. He's also a family guy and enjoys working with good kids. He sounds like a nice guy.
Chima - second of the bizarre names. We always get them in BBUS. The Early Show preview and her bio are conflicting. Preview says she's not afraid to lie, bio says she's caring. hmm. Can't make a judgement on her.
Jeff - Jeff is a tall dude type and could go either in my good or bad books, depending on his time in the house. He sounds like a guy you'd wanna be friends with, though he did say he would like to be Mayor if he ran for office (making him a bit cocksure of himself.) hmm again.
Jordan - this year's resident cute girl. I think I might like her in the House, apparently she's sweet, laid-back, easy-going. But I reckon she may be quite catty at times.
Kevin - dear lord. Camp as Christmas. He'll annoy me for sure.
Laura - vain to the point of nausea by the sounds of it. I prefer Jordan.
Lydia - seems like a free-spirited gal. She a bisexual body-art lover. But I like the sound of her, though I predict she may be quite temperamental.
Michele - Alison Grodner said she's the first highly intelligent woman on BB. I think she'll be interesting but her intelligence will likely screw her over.
Natalie - feisty fiery feisty fiery! She does Tae Kwon Do and poker and will lie cheat etc to win. uh oh. One of those again.
Ronnie - surprisingly he has a wife. He's one nerd I'll say. But he does love the show. No wonder he has glasses though since he often plays 6 hours plus of video games per DAY. Not sure on my opinions of him.
Russell - conflicting character. Rough-looking guy, does martial arts and "always ready for a fight." BUT, hates it when people don't think before acting and he thinks people should all smile. Softie/Ruffian. Which is he more? Dunno. hmm for a third time
So, this mystery HG business. I doubt it'll be a celebrity and probably not a Survivor/TAR/previous BB HG. Could just be another stranger arriving later than the others. Only time will tell....
