and it's the first time I've ever won a new Rookies! Excluding Survivor merges, it's the first game I've won since 20th July 2009.
My personal best had been 6th, and had only made the Jury 4 times out of 10. But this all changed, when I spontaneously enrolled last in #21705. I knew none of the 12 opponents and was alone, and was sure I'd be a floater.
All in all, I won HoH (first time EVER since joining Tengaged) and won 3 POVs. Firstly in Day 2, when the HoH refused to nom the 1 inactive left. I chose to veto computer3000 as he seemed to be stronger and a better ally for me. Saving him was, I think, what led me to victoy. He then invited me into a alliance with him, MooCoww and James1985.
My 3 allies and me advanced to the Jury stages, and they proved to be loyal to me, however their strength in winning HoHs and POVs was noticed, and James1985 and MooCoww faced the eviction vote for 9th, with James going. I however, did not appear to be a threat nor a target at that time.
Moo and Computer took the next 2 HoHs, but in Day 8, with Sarzzas HoH, me and Computer3000 were nominated. However, I won my second POV thanks to DOND and MooCoww was sadly backdoored :(.
On Day 9, me and computer were nommed once again and failed to get POV. I thought I was a goner since I'd gone under the radar for half the game, though the vote was 2-0 for computer to go.
Then, came my first ever HoH at Final-4... what a mistake my opponents made! I also took POV so my nominees of Sarzzas of Junsheaven were doomed.
I then faced the Jury with fellow underdog animorphlover3, whose popularity and sincerity coupled with 2 POVs made him the dark horse. He and Sarzzas were sure I'd win, though I didn't get complacent. The final result was 4-3 to me.
So, thanks to my great opponents and tough opponents for a great game!
