favorite reality contestant countdown #19 Oct 1, 2011
#19 on my list goes to the HSN and TAR17 goddesses, Brook and Claire.

As my preseason favorite (before the viral watermelon video), I knew they had tons of potential and boy did they live up to it. I've always loved sassy young female teams/contestants on reality shows but they are definitely one of my favorites.

What I loved about them was not only were they fun to watch and smile-inducing on screen, but they were a strong team! LOL at Claire rocking the hardest roadblocks like the watermelon to the face, rock climbing, food eating task to name a few. Unlike a lot of the female teams i love, they weren't a lost cause.

Of course the main reason why I loved them was because their sass brought tons of laughs. Their global kiss count, dancing with the kids at the word puzzle, and Brook dancing/making the crowd cheer and the sunglasses selling roadblock are a few instances of their humor, yet we weren't laughing at failure just honestly bright moments that certainly had the Brook and Claire flair < 3

Totally robbed of a win, and if only Claire waited to get pregnant they could have done (and won) Unfinished Business.

favorite reality contestant countdown #20 Oct 1, 2011
imageMy #20 spot belongs to my original Idol favorite, Diana DeGarmo.

Way back when, there was a time where i loved Idol. I was moderately interested with the Clay Aiken season, but watching Diana rock the pink and black every week captivated me. To this day the most memorable, (and my favorite) Idol performance was her performing Think, imo. Now that was FIERCE!

Diana and Idol will always have a special place in my appreciation for reality television because American Idol was the first show i looked forward to watching every week. Diana was also the first reality show contestant i ever rooted for. In elementary school, i couldn't wait for american idol, and that love for weekly reality shows has not died to this day.

Looking back Sep 30, 2011

Im pretty dissapointed with Jerri's HvV edit. Dunno why im bringing this up  but this video of her is fierce and the story arc editors couldve given to her, and her whole 19 season long relationship with Colby not rlly being addressed properly leaves me kinda meh.

Edit: Screw you rob, Jerrri's edit is just one of many other things you had a hand in ruining :/

favorite reality contestant countdown #21 Sep 30, 2011
imageOk so i thought it'd be interesting to make a countdown of my favorite and most memorable reality tv characters of all time, and i have been watching reality tv for a long time so there are some memorable ppl on my list.

#21 (because i couldnt narrow it down to 20) belongs to Teresa Cooper A.K.A fifth place on survivor Africa.

From the very beggining she was my odds on favorite in Survivor Africa, maybe the third season of Survivor i ever watched. I was so worried she was screwed, and i loathed Silas with all my heart. When this little sweetheart came out on top i forever cemented a love in my heart for spunky old ladies, hence my love for Holly, Helen, and now Dawn.

Looking back Sue Hawk started my love for spunky old ladies, but when i look at all of the spunky old ladies of survivor history, Teresa is definetly my favorite. Coming from the minority over with the douchey young ppl tribe, you couldnt help but adore her, and honestly, I thought Lex was a bit arrogant so i LOVED Teresa.

Teresa ranks #21 because not only was she my favorite spunky old lady, but she engraved in me an urge to always root for the underdog, and for the character that is entertaining rather than savy. Thank you Teresa for being awesome in Africa, and im sad you havent graced my tv scren since.

Also, the original flight attendant. *cough Ron and Bill cough cough*
