a reality series you watched religiously didn't deliver to the point where you stopped watching a season halfway?
As a kid that was The Challenge - The Island for me. Coming off the heels of the start of the Kenny/Johnny/Evan era with them making endgame on Inferno 3 and Gauntlet 3 when the island rolled around the cast to me was extremely underwhelming.
my favs at that point having started with gauntlet 2 were casey/beth/svetlana who were all missing and i didnt know who kellyanne was combined with johnny/kenny being in control of the votes annoyed my 13 year old self so badly i stopped watching like 2 eps in when i LOVED fresh meat/gauntlet 3 (not so much inferno 3) and the challenge up to that point was a weekly STAPLE for me along with amazing race
the next notable time that happened would have to be the last beauty and the geek season where it was beauties VERSUS geeks and the ICONIC intense elimination room was turned into a cheesy speed game show round. The FLAG FOOTBALL game that automatically eliminated a girl was the final straw and i stopped watching the shitshow before it even returned to pairs.
