Hey, guys, remember that time the duel came out and everyone stopped playing rookies? All of a sudden, there were no known names in rookies and no one knew who they could bet on to be sure to make some t$ for the week! It was chaos! No t$ was safe!
Then, all of the normal consistent winners come back, and people get so happy they throw 3000-4000 bets their way. It was like a recession was ending! Tengagers could make money again and know they would have a fairly safe investment.
But now changes are being proposed in rookies that could lead to the demise of a "sure-thing" bet. Love or hate rookies, the majority of you make your money weekly from sure-thing bets. With a change in the system, especially with things like a jury and minigames, which are not consistent, you're going to lose the ability to be secure in your bets. Which means you will either throw away more t$ on bets, or just stop betting in general.
So before you jump on the "change rookies completely" bandwagon, think about the t$conomy... because we're about to see the great t$pression.
Yes you are totally right! If there is a jury, then it will be unpredictable who wins because the jury could pick anyone to win, so we just would not know who to bet on.
I suppose it was often ridiculously predictable who would win, and when the game changes, the bets will dry up.
A jury would be interesting. We can think of how it can be implemented in practice. I think people can be allowed to enter a list of who they'd like to win in some order and can change their mind at any time, even after elimination.
Unfortunately, they might look at how much money is at stake and that could be one reason not to vote for a particular person. Maybe if this amount was kept secret, and then revealed after the event...
How about randomize just creates like rookies 2 with a jury and pov competition. However he should still keep the original rookies. Therfore we can try out a new type of rookies, and still be able to win lots of money from bets from the original rookies.
Duel is already ruining the T$ economy. I think Randomize should keep Rookies as is and release an "Advance" version or something like that with the updates he's thinking about
If Rookies is changed, they should change the betting system so you make more money for choosing the top finishers. It's really not worth it to bet unless you're like POSITIVE you know who is gonna win.
everyone was too quick to bail on the rookies, they was just jellis they couldn't get in the duel. rooks lasted the storm even after survivor killed enrollment, no reason why they won't again. no changes.

These changes are way to late, if they want to make a game thats more like the real big brother USA then they need to just make a brand new game :/
