Found rainbow waistband pink underwear at his old place under the bed and she didn’t say anything. He hasn’t come out to her either. I’ll still be patiently waiting, but how does that not come up? I’m utterly shocked.

rperduex11 you still didn't come out to grandma?! I remember we talked about this last year and you said you thought she was subtly dropping hints to let you know she suspected/would accept you. I know it must be hard and I get not wanting to, but I also know she is the person in your family that you care about the most, so if you were to come out to someone, she would be a good choice.
cheritaisdelicious exactly. I thought this story was hilarious (technically his dog found it and brought it to his grandma), but it reminded me he hasn’t told her yet. I was worried I would sound like I’m pushing him to come out to her. I understand how difficult it is and that’s not my intent. We used to talk about coming out to certain people all the time then it turned into waiting for her to ask. I’ve been telling him most people aren’t going to ask, but they are going to wait for you to say something. What happened is the best example because she’s clearly being respectful by not asking, but like how do you not after finding something that gay LOL
cheritaisdelicious it’s just not as important to me as it is to Tyler… like, I’m not close with my family, and they don’t really have any attachment to me. Of course, grandmas my closest, but I just don’t feel like I have an obligation to talk to them about it because it’s not hindering our life at all.

I was in my underwear playing a game. I almost charged my phone upstairs too, but I brought down a cord to plug in. You can’t make this up and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I think it went well?!?
