Can you really win a casting with only one key?

I'm in a casting and getting a key seems to be nearly impossible because my internet is really slow and unstable. I'd be lucky if I can get my hands on one anytime soon.

So yeah, can I really win a casting with only one key? And are there anything you can do to increase your chances of winning?
