1) teaching your clearly mentally unstable son how to shoot a gun for target shooting
2) having numerous weapons, including a Bushman Assault weapon, accessible to her her nutjob waste of sperm son.
Clearly she didn't deserve to die, but it should be common sense to keep weapons away from your kids if they have mental issues.

I agree with some of your points, however, how was she supposed to suspect that her OWN son, would kill her and 26+ other people?
litecitrus, clearly no one wants to think their child is capable of doing such a thing, but with the issues the son had he was at the very least a threat to himself. If your son has all of these issues and may have suicidal tendencies, i dont care how much of a gun collector you are, you get rid of the guns. Unfortunately that piece of shit decided to kill others as well.
it could have very easily been avoided. if a store doesnt think hes fit enough to own a gun, then you as a parent shouldn't allow him to access to them.
