My 2nd stars ever and my first time playing in 7 years!
Coming into this game, I knew I was going to be targeted as a popularity threat along with kindred7 and would inevitably be used as a weapon against her. Tempo can attest to the fact that several people wanted to turn me into a flavor to put up next to kindred. Obviously I didn’t become a flavor because I fought so hard to prevent it. I used strategy and connections I made with people in the game to ensure that I wouldn’t become a flavor and be put up with kindred. I also managed to never be put up with my f2, guigi as the cast believed my f2 was darrius. I worked with both guigi and kindred throughout the game and most of the cast had no idea, but it probably became more apparent towards the end, not sure.
I’ve had people say to me that I’d have a better chance of winning if I was flavored. That may be true, but I wanted to try to get as far as I could on my own because I felt that allowing people to constantly nominate me wouldn’t be much of a strategy. I’m also an anxious person in general and didn’t want the added stress and anxiety of being nominated every other dc.
Despite what people may believe, I didn’t play a bad game just because I didn’t feel the need to talk to EVERYONE. I felt it was better to create a few strong connections rather than speak to everyone and have no true allies. Specifically, marilise has claimed I didn’t play a good game, but just because I wasn’t fake to the entire cast in PMs doesn’t mean I wasn’t playing hard; there is more than just one singular way to play stars. I played a more straightforward and loyal game doing what was needed to make f3 with guigi and kindred.
I’m asking you all to please reward my gameplay by voting me to win. Coming into this game, I knew I needed to redeem myself from being evicted to moviedude in my only other stars in 2014. I don’t see myself ever joining stars again so I’m hoping I can somehow win this one :)
