Right now, I'm listening to a good song and writing this blog as I promised the Fasting guys that I just participated.
And regardless of the result, winning or losing, I think this was the best Fasting I've played so far!
Usually when we stay up at dawn with nothing to do, boredom hits very fast. You even try to occupy your time with anything else while you are sleepless.
But I can assure you that this was not the case. Do you know when you do something that takes you to a different time when things were simpler but fun? That's exactly how I felt at this Fasting!
I practically went back to the years 2009 to 2011 when the Internet was still growing. Where we had good rock bands like Linkin Park and Foo Fighters and rappers like Ja Rule and 50 Cent. We talked about everything. From the most nostalgic times to modernity. And to be honest it was a long time ago that I didn't feel so well received and welcomed in an internet chat.
I say chat because Tengaged is very reminiscent of those old RPG games in text on consoles like the Commodore 64. The difference is that it is connected to the Internet.
But I am satisfied with everything that happened. Even finishing in 7th place, the moment I had with the other participants was very nice. I met three very cool Brazilians and other participants from several countries in which I would like to keep friends.
At a time when the Internet has been very toxic lately, spending that healthy time with these people was a surreal experience for me. I missed that. And I hope that these good times will be repeated for all of us who are living in the quarantine period. Everything will be fine. It's only a matter of time!
From everything I've seen from the trailer so far, I have good expectations for now. I think he managed to show without exaggeration the visceral violence that exists in the game. Of course, I'm not a big fan of seeing fractures exposed in the movies. However, when this is done in a very elaborate way and without having that question of wanting to shock the viewer at all costs, it pleases me entirely.
I think they chose the actors well with the proposal to arouse the curiosity of people wanting to know who is playing such a character. So the fact that most of the cast is not well known is already a piece that fits very well.
The only setback I see is this new character that they created exclusively for the film. There is a theory that is the son of Scorpion, which is not very accurate to say. I just thought it was a little unnecessary. And Kano being shown as one of the heroes of the film did not please me either. But I hope I'm wrong. These two things may work.
In general, everything was shown in a very competent way. Sub-Zero and Scorpion manage to be the flagships of this trailer with a lot of elegance, the visuals of the characters were very well worked, the fight choreography was very well elaborated and I understood perfectly the reference that they made by putting the Kano accent being British.
Being a fan of games and also of the Mortal Kombat franchise, I have good expectations for the film and I hope to have fun watching it on its premiere.
After a long time, I played the "first" casting here on Tengaged.
It was very nostalgic for me. I felt myself returning to youth. In my day, MSN was sensational, YouTube launched short videos that are now classics and internet chats were always full.
Well, it happened here in Brazil. The internet around here was still crawling. But we had fun.
In this casting that I participated, I was in 13th place. At first I felt a little lost because most of them spoke Spanish. It sounds comical, but Brazilian Portuguese is similar to Spanish in certain things. But otherwise it is very different. And I had to use Google Translate to help.
Even so, I still have fun. The players were very receptive to me and I met a lot of nice people. Until it was worth it.
I hope to have the same experience in other matches. I'm just sad because the community has shrunk a lot. But maybe one day things will be the same again. I'm just thinking positive.

I was very excited to go back to playing something I enjoyed during the years 2009 to 2011. It was something very popular at the time. The internet was growing, but we still had fun.
Only when I tried to play, the room was full of fakes / robot users. I admit that I was quite upset. Tengaged Brasil ended up just for that.
However while I was searching for a video on my YouTube channel, I started to remember classic games like Elifoot and flash games from the Miniclip site. And I decided to go back to Tengaged to see how it was.
I decided to enter another game just for the time being. The guys still play. I just hope it is as good as the classic Internet times.
This is my first game here in Tengaged. And i was cheated by a user who put fake players in the room!

Bem, é meio estranho praticamente retornar a um jogo que curtia nos anos de 2009 á 2011... Bem por aí!
Claro que curtia no site BR. Mas faliu! Acho que o motivo é bem óbvio: o jogo estava lotado de hackers e fakes.
Mas espero não me decepcionar aqui. Na época foi bastante divertido e conheci muita gente por causa disso!
